Provided you can get more than one work visa, then yeah, it's a good idea.

A friend of mine went out to Whistler and he wasn't even that greater a rider when he got there, took his level 1 and passed. Went straight to Ski School, got a job and then took Level 2 later in the season through ski school. They will give you loads of good training and preperation that you don't have to pay for either and you have real experience.

It's easy to get level 1, most people pass. You get everything taught to you, both riding skills and teaching over two days, then on the third day you teach two of the modules to the class and get a pass or fail for your riding and teaching skill.

Level 3 is a lot more work though and I think you will be expected to have a few years teaching under your belt.

Having any kind of previous work where you may have worked with children is a huge asset, for Whistler Blackcomb at least. As Level 1 & 2 instructors spend most of their time teaching kids.
