Uplay having gone down and now asking for CD keys then saying your key has been used seems to be happening to quite a few now http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/732016-Uplay-has-gone-down

Bit wary of shutting my game off now so left it running in the background with sound off till they fix it.

Yeah just went on to play and its asking for my CD-key again.

Really ****** now as it took me hours to activate and install the game now I can't even play the bloody thing!

I am having the Uplay issue as I type this.

The software tells me I have no games, so I went to the install folder and tried to load that way.

Uplay pops up and asks me for my key. Enter the key and the servers are busy..

Same here. I am looking for a crack which is probably available for the latest version.

Pretty ****** up that you can't even play a single player game without being connected to the Internet with some kind of crap interface!

I just had that problem trying to play the game from the Far Cry shortcut. I loaded uplay instead and it worked from there.

If Uplay asks for the key: on Uplay screen, up-right select your avatar and then "change user" - insert your email/password now.

For £13 quid from cdiski you cant go too wrong.

You can if you buy 3 keys at the same time! I bought 3 copies for me and my friends and it only sent us the one key :mad:

I seem to have encountered a bug,
After I return to the village with my 2 pigskins & plants I have to see the bloke again who want to teach me how to craft items etc.
I'm now stuck on the tutorial screen & can't get off :mad:

I have 2 skill points & there are 3 short tutorials, I get to see the first one but when I select the next one which is called shark or spider it only lets me view his tattoo but the tutorial option doesn't appear & I can't exit the screen no matter what keys I press. How is this supposed to work ? am I doing something wrong :confused:

I'm trying to like this game, but it seems like a real mess of "good ideas" gone bad. I think there may be a case for sitting back and waiting to see if someone patches this to be a bit more PC and a lot less... er, bride of Farcryenstein.

Just played for around an hour and must say it's a great game

graphics are very impressive, runs great for me (40-60fps) on very high.

My performance fix

I think ive found a way that atleast for me fixes my performance issues on my 7950. My issues has been lowish and uneven fps, sudden drops to 30ish.
Ive tried several catalyst drivers but none fixed my problem.

I tried the SweetFX (google it if you don't know what it is) to get some AA in the game since its not supported through the use of DX9. For whatever reason that escapes me my framerates are now smoother and never falls below 60-65. Most of the time it sits around 75 and up too around 95

My ingame settings are:
DX9
FOV=80.3(the higher the fov the lower the FPS in this game)
1920x1080
Everything maxed with the exception of post process which is set to medium.

Ive tried the same ingame settings but without SweetFX and the issues return.

any advice on what settings to go with a setup such as i5 2500k oc to 4.4ghz
2x 670s
8gb ram

I want the best settings as possible but a high fps

Yep, still no answer, lost my game saves

Thankfully I only just met the crazy scientist guy so was still fairly new in the game. Will just start again
