I don't mind the sharks, it's the blimmin Dingo's that are getting on my nerves! I just start to get ready to snipe a post up, taken ages to get in close up and quiet, and Aaarghh! The damn things are hanging off every limb making tons of racket.

Any opinions as to whether or not its worth the extra £3.75 for the digital deluxe over the standard right now? Soundtrack doesn't bother me, and I doubt I'll be playing multiplayer much

For me, I had to press my aim key (mouse 4), which should let you pull out the guys gun.

Far Cry 3?? I mean, they just killed your brother!!! I'd be damned if I'd be faffing about running errands & bartering for a machine gun......I'd just hit you over the head and take it from you, then trudge back up the hill to reek my vengeance on my brother's murderers.

Far Cry is supposed to be a shooter and it all went belly up the second Crytek let go of it!

I just came here to ask about stutter. I have a Radeon 6950 2Gb and I'm using HDAO, getting great FPS, it doesn't really drop below 60 very often, but I get really annoying stutter when running around. I really notice it if I leave my mouse and just strafe left or right, you can really see the stutter.

Any ideas?

I'm finding enabling Vsync and disabling MSAA is helping slightly, still get the stutters a bit though. The MSAA at 2* in game is crap, lowers performance and looks no different to 0.

I can't find it now and can't find anywhere on uplay that lets me download this again, sorry. Uplay really is the worst idea in a long list of Ubisoft bad ideas.

With a stock i5 750, 8GB ram, MSI OC 7850 2GB @ 1080P and everything set to highest option except post FX (on low as it hammers FPS), shadows set to the 2nd or 3rd highest (another FPS killer), SSAO set to HDAO, alpha to coverage set to enhanced, GPU buffer set to 1 or 2 (can't remember exactly, but any higher than that and it stutters) and MSAA turned of and using these sweet fx settings:

I am getting no stutter at all, FPS are usually over 55 on average, haven't seen it drop below 40 yet.

No stutter with those settings as well, problem is there is loads of jaggys. I find it's smooth at 1080P with PostFX on Ultra and shadows set to high, but then it does stutter.

Haven't noticed any jaggys. Are you using the sweet FX settings as well? IIRC there is some stuff it does to apply a form of AA without a performance hit like there is when using the in game's options. Well there was for the FXAA injector for BF 3 anyway.
