Hope they reduce the random encounters event down from Fry Cry 5 levels.

I couldn't go for more than 40 seconds without running into a road block or needing to rescue someone from the cult. It spoiled the game it a bit form me as you could never get away from it and the mission felt entirety optional. I didn't even get chance to play half of them as once I had unlocked the guns for hire and done a few of the random events I had virtually liberated the zone.

After FC3 they have all been pretty **** anyway. Just the same thing copy/pasted all over the map. The best one was Blood Dragon and that was a side-project some devs made in their spare time lol

Copy and Paste rubbish, I'm done with FC series. Such a shame.

FC has been the same garbage since Ubisoft took the reigns all those years ago, its a cash cow so they keep pumping them out with minimal effort.

The quality of Far cry games has dropped off a cliff since FC3 and Blood Dragon, they have just been getting progressively worse in my eyes which is a shame.

It's difficult for me to quantify my opinion of the Far Cry series. I've played and enjoyed all of them. However, imo just like some of these superhero films that are churned out on mass every year, there's nothing inherently wrong with them; they can be fun to watch, but at the same time, they are nothing greater than just "ok".

This is exactly how I feel. It's like sex with your wife: you always have fun, and sometimes she'll do something special, but at the end of the day it's still your wife and you pretty much know what you're getting.
