I'm an old bloke and I wouldn't be laughing.
In fact I'd be thinking 'Good on you for being different'.
I'm pretty sure that there will be some manner of dress that you do that we would all find ridiculous.

I can see why people are offended by body mods but usually its because they don't understand why anyone would want to do that to their bodies.
 
I like the look of body art if it's well done, but I can't help wondering if it sometimes gets a bit....competitive . You know, he's got six piercings so I'll get seven, she's got a big tattoo so I'll get a bigger one.
Just wondering if its a challenge to see how far you can go, or if its purely for aesthetic reasons.

to everyone wanting to make derogatory / derisory comments about the way i *choose* to look and the modifications i *want* to make to my body - don't you realise that if i cared about the opinions of close minded joe public - i probably wouldn't be doing it?

i love the way i look, i'm slim, petite in stature, i like my face and how big my eyes are, i like how flat my tummy is and the way my hips are rounded, i'm certainally not thick and i'm lucky enough for people to think i have a gsoh - and i love my tattoos and piercings - i wouldn't be the person i am without them.

i get the comment - 'girls like you shouldn't do that to your body' - why?
i am a girl like me - i have them, i love them - end of

Sorry guys but there's just too much pointless bitching going on, and everybody wants to have the last word. We'll I'm afair it is I that has it.

Big_white_dog84 and others with negativity on their minds - seriously think about your attitude and the way you are posting. Such aggressive posting is not welcomed.

Others - don't add fuel to the fire, or at least report the thread. I (or another Don) will end it, you don't need to. The retaliations invariably end up being equally aggressive and is just as unwelcomed as the instigator(s) of the attack.

I apologies for the patronising tone, but it is ever so tiresome...
