Faulty GPU ?

I'd say a 550W Power Supply for that G/Card, even though it's a good one, would be something I'd try swapping for something slightly beefier.

//edit, I'm not saying it's the problem, but it's very close to the limit for a graphics card that's not the most power efficient.

Ok so I cleaned drivers and reinstalled but now with gpu back in the pixel pattern has changed and if I move my mouse around then the pixels move around with it lol

For a second time - very disappointing. i paid £275 for this card on the 3rd of june and it's been a peice of junk since day 1. I honestly just want my money back at this point.

A second rma is not acceptable.

I know that it's beyond the 28days but this card has already been returned once within the 28days and sent back to me as no fault found only for it to last a further 3weeks?

Bailey as you said you'd keep an eye on this thread please get back to me asap.

Either one 600W minimum power supply needed. As i said i know super flowers are good, but the card has been tested good, it still looks to be a power issue.

Can you not test it in a friends machine?

I have tested the card in my friends machine and it done the exact same thing. His psu is only 520w and mine is 550w.

However I do need to stress that this whole build was recommended by forum members and ocuk staff.

Id say your GPU is in fact haunted, and if you stare at that screen long enough something bad will happen. I dont think supernatural visitations are covered in RMA's anymore since Micheal Jackson died and worked his way into the semiconductor industry back in 2014. Great shame.

Hang on, if a power supply is the issue, surely it shouldnt ever start up and just make a beep sound? Or would a electrical spike make a screen go nuts like this?

Still, 700 Watt PSU is usually recommended for modern Radeon rigs

I highly doubt he's anywhere near the limit of that PSU. They overspec PSU reqs for folks running on potato's not Superflower's which are one of the best.

If you discover the fault within the first six months from purchase, it is presumed to have been there since the time of purchase - unless the retailer can prove otherwise.

During this time it's up to the retailer to prove that the fault wasn't there at the point of purchase - it's not up to you to prove that it was.

If an attempt at repair or replacement has failed, you have the right to reject the goods for a full refund or price reduction - if you wish to keep the product.

No deduction can be made from a refund in the first six months following an unsuccessful attempt at repair or replacement.

I do sympathise with you. You should be getting AAA service as any single item that costs over £200 should be classed a luxury.

Yeah I am going to call them again today when I get the chance, I'm at the point now that I don't want the card. I've lost all faith in this particular one. I want a refund and I'll buy a different card.

Update : ocuk have agreed to issue a full refund when they receive the card back.

Thanks again everyone for all your help!

Now to chose me a new gpu for £300 :)

Hi guys,

I built my PC about 1 - 2 months ago and had some issues with the PC not giving video output through my gpu.

Rma to ocuk and it was returned as no fault found, when it arrived back I fired it in and it worked no problems. Now I haven't used the PC much since I built it and I turned it on for the first time today in about 1 - 2 weeks.

Windows launched perfect, logged in and then after about 1minute this happened. No idea what's going on.... Rebooted the PC and it done exactly the same.

Please help.

That looks like this Free-Sync Screen?

If you can wait for this or this
