Faulty Hazro HZ27WC?

Well LC155, so far myself and other's didn't have that black level problem.

We'll see after the new restock though, you can always buy one and see how it works.
If not you folks in the UK have that fancy distance selling return thing.

?

As far as I remember, you were the only one who could tell a TINY difference.

Edit: Okay, maybe you and one other guy, but I was defintiely not the only one who had the problem. One guy couldn't make out a difference until it got to 3 - that's terrible!

Chances of Hazro acknowledging it? Probably 0

Oh snap! Didn't see the one posting that he couldn't see anything until 3.

Hmm, well place your bets on the Hazro Lottery! Do you get a top notch panel, or a TN reject! Bets start at 499.

Ok, an update.

Since I got a new nvidia gtx 580 asus graphic card I have had zero issues with my HZ27WC. Now it has only been two weeks, but this is very encouraging and might mean that some graphic cards have issues with this monitor.

Also loving my new asus graphic card. Well worth taking up three slots when it is so wonderfully silent compared to my ATI 5770, even when playing games like the Witcher 2 at 2560x1440 with most settings at max.

I'll post again if the monitor glitches re-appear, but fingers crossed you wont hear from me in this thread again.

I've recently got a new Hazro monitor and have the same issue of the blurry screen from standby on occasion.

Anyone got further experience? did the issues stop or continue?

I have the same thing after standby - only happened around 5 times so far and turning it on and off fixed it, so i don't really care.

ATI 6950 & 27WC

I recently bought the hz27wc as well, although I hadn't read all the problems with ATI users before and it might of made me think twice! But anyway, when I first got it I had no post screens, no booting, nothing. It just refused to boot when it was plugged in. I have an XFX ATI 5870 and I went to techpowerup and downloaded a newer firmware for my card and everything worked fine then. Get post screens, boots fine. So if anyone else is having issues having to unplug your monitor just to boot etc. Try a firmware update for your card.

Although today I just got the blurry picture bug and had to reboot to get it to work properly so its not all roses just yet

Since I installed a nvidia card (GTX 580) I have had zero problems with this monitor. I've also gotten used to the glass reflections (i.e. I don't notice anymore) and absolutely love it. I think it is a fantastic monitor for the price. Clearly there may be issues with some (older? - I had 5770) ATI cards, but even then my problems were at least only occasional and always resolved by changing the resolution or primary screen a few times. I don't know if new driver updates might resolve it.

glad I saw this thread - thinking about getting this monitor but ya have a older 5770 atm ... will upgrade soonish thou so ...

I had this same issue with mine once..
didnt happen a second time as the PSU blew up 2 hours after connecting it
I had the whole lot replaced by ocuk and not a single issue since.
asus 5870 btw

I've just got one of these. I have to say I'm somewhat appalled at it.

It simply will not run as a single monitor. All my firmware and drivers are up to date. It works perfectly with a second monitor (shows bios and works in windows), even if the second monitor is disabled. But as soon as I unplug the secondary monitor it refuses to play ball.

I've been working on this all evening and I've given up for the night.

Yes I'm using an AMD gpu (see sig)
