My Fruit Psychobells... A Seed Combustible would be downright godly if it were re-recorded/remastered with the same quality as the last two albums. On the other hand, the poor mastering on the album sets a very odd and enigmatically beautiful atmosphere; sort of like how you admire an antique. The opening to the track "Catharsis of Sea Sleep" is seriously majestic stuff, gives me goosebumps every time.

It's such a shame they broke up though. Yes there's Kayo Dot, which is brilliant too but just not the same. MotW simply got so many thing right on so many levels. I've been looking for similiar bands, but nothing really compares.

Van Halen - Women and children first

Excellent :D

Mine would be:

Hawkind: Doremi Faso Latido. Because of Down through the night and Lemmy's The watcher.

Motorhead: 1916 AND ********; you tell me that you cant be affected by these lyrics!!!! Lemmy what a hero!

Don't Let Daddy Kiss Me

Little girl sleeping in dreams of peace
Mommy been gone a long time
Daddy comes home and she still sleeps
Waiting for the world worst crime
And he comes up the stairs like he always does

And he never turns on the light
And she's wide awake, scared to death
She smells his lust and she smells his sweat
Curled in a ball she holds her breath

Praying to a God that she's never met
Don't let Daddy kiss me, don't let Daddy kiss me
Goodnight

Little girl lies by her Daddy's side
And she listens to him breathe
She knows there's something awful wrong
That she's far too young to see

And she knows she can't tell anyone
She's too full of guilt and shame
And if she tells she'll be all alone
They'd steal her Daddy and they'd steal her home

And it's not so bad when Daddy leaves her alone
Praying to her God with his heart of stone
Don't let Daddy kiss me, don't let Daddy kiss me
Goodnight

Why, tell me why,
The worst crime, in the world

And so Daddy lies by his daughter's side
And he sleeps deep and well
No nightmares come to him tonight
Though his daughter lives in hell

For his seed is sown where it should not be
But the beast in his mind don't care
And the only sound are tears that fell
Little girl turns her face to the wall

She knows that no-one hears her call
But it seems that God hears nothing at all
Don't let Daddy kiss me, don't let Daddy kiss me
Goodnight

:(

Nik Turners Hawkwind - What Hawkwind should sound like!!!!

Jetro Tull - Aqualung

Neil Young - Harvest and Tonights the night.

:D

If i had to pick one and one only it would probably be....

Metallica - Master of Puppets.

If i had to pick more than one i would die on this keyboard from getting sleepy. Not so bad but i would fall knocking my 32" samsung monitor tv thing forward landing on my head with a nasty bang. And maybe electrocution. Survivable? Probably not since no-one is coming back to this house for 3 days and if i did pull my head out i'd probably fall backwards after tripping over some crap on my floor and knocking my stereo on my head.

God i'm bored.

Pop punk - shame on you!! :p

Where in Bristol are you?
It's a guilty pleasure that album. :D

Another classic IMO:

Underworld - Dubnobasswithmyheadman

Also, I'm close to Bristol Airport right now, but I'm often over at Keynsham also.

Milloy - More Than A Machine
No Trigger - Canyoneer
Dead Hearts - Bitter Verse
Atmosphere - Lucy Ford: The Atmosphere EPs
Brother Ali - The Undisputed Truth
Latterman - Turn Up The Punk, We'll Be Singing/No Matter Where We Go...!
Ill Bill - What's wrong with Bill?
Rise Against - Revolutions Per Minute
With Honor - The Distance
The Warriors - War Is Hell/Beyond The Noise
Casey Jones - The Messenger
Justin Timberlake - Futuresex/Lovesounds
Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liquor

All form a crucial part of my listening :)

Metallica - Master of Puppets
Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction
The Living End - Roll On
Blind Guardian - Nightfall in Middle-Earth

All for various reasons - in order:
A true masterpiece - their finest ever work. Been listening to it all weekend ...
Nothing will ever come close to GN'R with AfD for the effect it had on me as a teenager.
Roll On was my first TLE album - they're my pop-punk deviance and the best band I've ever seen live.
And Nightfall.....not only does it tell a story, but it's an incredibly emotive piece of work (and the drumming is absolutely amazing!).

All four are on my phone so I'm never more than a minute away from any of my top tracks :D
