best colour i ever saw was a charcoal grey, however i have no idea where i saw it or what it was. but i want one

Agreed, Ive seen a few cases that are this gunmetal type colour and its the best Ive seen, I think some of the soldam cases come in this colour...

Next case I buy is gonna be painted in this colour without a doubt

Although I quite like purple and gold too, Phils not the only person who knows how to anodise y'know

But I think black, so much so I'm anodising the inside of my pc7 black.

Well thats a fair comment coming from you mate. I can't really see you sitting there with a Black or Silver case for very long.

lol... nothing sits for very long in this place without getting painted
but for the purposes of the poll, id ave to save black tickles my gherkin !
silver 'can' look a bit tacky sometimes

Black for me. I like a black keyboard with black writing on it. When you press a key a black light lights up on a black background to tell you it's doing something.

Im firmly a black case person. All my Hi-fi equipment is black, my tv is black and my bed is black. I can see the reason for liking silver, but IMO black looks far meaner.

I have an all-black garage at the moment - 3 black cars (including my wife's car). It's a nightmare on a Sunday as they look awful unless they're clean.

I have a silver PC-7+, my flatmate has the black.

Silver > Black.

Black is a dust-magnet too.

Got the Black Eclipse62 and the amount of dust omg.... chose silver wish I had gone with silver case almost. I tend to like Silver or Black and silver lately....

if u look at the style of things blacks always in but lately LCDs/TFTs and hi-fi units all going silver and sleek...
