Favourite & recommended Tech YouTubers?

Jayztwocents taught me everything I needed to know about watercooling. He's someone I watch pretty regularly to keep abreast of what's happening.

I think Gamers Nexus does great in-depth videos, very much based on testing, evidence and statistics. But yeah, you need to concentrate. I think the key with Steve is that if you're after real facts, then he's a good place to go, but you need to be awake. He's not a background-noise YouTuber because it's too easy to tune him out.

Kyle (Bitwit) is light-hearted and fun, but I only watch him when I'm in the mood.

I've been watching a bit of Optimum Tech at the minute, as he has a seam of ITX content that I'm mining for my son's build.

And lastly, Gear Seekers is worth a watch

Agreed on bitwit, his roast videos have made me chuckle on occasion. Not as in depth as GN though

I haven't watched any PC/tech channels on YT for several years, but recently found Optimum Tech and he's very good, production quality and information is solid.

At least Linus and Jayz 2 Cents have some entertaining elements to their voices

Linus and Jayz were the first two I came across. I still watch them, primarily because they are entertaining, but they're not the one's I'd turn to first for solid reliable info.

Also I like Marcus Brownlee as a modern tech guy, I think that's the name of his channel, also PartsUnknown based in China, think that's the right name.

I'll have to search for that one, Ta.

Linus tech tips for a much more generalist view of tech. He can go deep at times but it’s few and far between. Bit wit for a much more lighthearted view, jayztwocents as well. Gamers nexus for a real deep down breakdown.

I got the parts unknown one totally wrong, it's actually Strange Parts but I think C-19 is preventing him making many new videos. Another one I like is Snazzy Labs.

+1 on Gear Seekers, relatively new and small channel, but putting their hearts into it. can be a little repetitive at the moment, mainly builds, but they are just starting really and good to support

On a little different note DIY Perks does a lot of PC related stuff - DIY PC builds in custom cases, etc. projects reusing laptop parts, etc. etc.

UrAvgConsumer can also be a good watch for general tech, though I find him a bit annoying sometimes sharing is fab life.

Another channel I watch is Lon.Tv, a little different in every sense, but has some interesting vids and covers more general household tech, networking and lower cost general items, a little niche though.

TechTeamGB deserves the forums support too, a UK channel who is trying and got messed about royally by MSI recently and supported by Steve of GN.

Havent' seen too many UK channels so this is particularly welcome.

What did MSI do?
He gave their (MSI) laptop a bad (but honest) review. First they tried to pay him not to post the review, then they threatened his channel if he did. Both GN and Hardware unboxed covered it in his support.

This was the review. Comments are interesting
