Favourite stand up comedians?

Jimmy Carr, Bill Bailey, Ricky Gervais, and Lee Evans. Probably some others too. I like pretty much any standup except Peter Kay. Goddamnit I hate the guy.

I like a lot of the others but these three are some of the best and not been mentioned yet.

Freddie Star, Kevin Bloody Wilson, Joe Rogan

And then there is Larry The Cable Guy, he's great.

Also found Ardal o'Hanlon's set on mock the week a couple of years back very good, although he's not really a stand-up comedian by trade.

Can't stand Frankie Boyle or Jimmy Carr's stand-up. Both are very funny on panel shows and the like, but there's no flow to their stand up; they both need somebody to bounce off, or they end up reverting to one-liners.

Tim Vine (brother of Jeremy Vine) is one of my favourites, he is not that well known but he is famous for his puns. It's quite a different style of comedy but I like it.

I couldn't agree more :)

Also pleased to see Dave Allen mentioned a few times. It would be criminal if he were forgotten and the Andy Parsons of this world were remembered.
