Fears, Do you have any?

Fear of Death, although there is not much i can do about it:(

Don't worry, ever been under anaesthetic? I think dying is kind of like that. I remember them saying count to 3 next thing I know I woke up in completely different room with my nose all sliced up.

If dying is like that you just cease to exist and you won't have the conciousness to worry about death when you are dead.

:D

Heights but for some reason, heights in games make my legs feel wobbly. Heights in real life get my heart racing but try to not let it stop me enjoying what I am doing.

Snakes!!!!!! In Nigeria snakes were poisonous and would want to eat your face (as I witnessed myself when a viper/dragon/Smaug jumped out at me from a bush). Naturally when I came to England as a 7 year old I thought all snakes were equally dangerous. A nice stroll with my mum and grandmother ended up in me repeatedly stamping on a grass snake's head as I thought I was protecting the two most important women in my life. My grandmother looked somewhat bemused :o:o:(:p

I would be surprised to come across anyone who doesn't have a fear of something. There are many things I fear but I don't have a phobia of.

I'm afraid of posting in forum topics and having people quote me.

Reminds me of the askreddit thread where someone said that every time they received a notification icon blip they crapped their pants and thought “oh god who did I unknowingly annoy this time”.

No idea on fears really, sure everyone has different types of fear with different degrees of avoidance for them. I just deal with them as and when they come up.

I don't think I have any irrational fears. The thing that haunts me is the idea that someone I love would be hurt and I'd see it, but not be able to do anything about it because I was too weak. I suppose you could reduce that to a fear of being helpless.

Sadly no. If I had a fear and didn't like the thrill so much I'd have a higher life expectancy....

No fears of water/heights/people or anything really. I'm cautious but not scared.

I'll give anything a go and if I live i'll do it again! lol

Nothing that I've came across yet. Perhaps wasps, I don't fear them, I just really don't like them.

I can understand that, Me and the Mrs got jumped on a night out by 2 guys and 6 girls being stamped on and looking over seeing the my other half having that done was horrible, now on a night out I'm constantly on edge.

Its ok now though, we can both adopt the boxing stance when needed

I don't have any phobias but my other half is petrified of flowers. Yes, seriously.

It means I never have to buy any (:p) but does make it rather awkward if anybody else does. Worse is in the shops though, if someone is holding some she literally has to detour away from them or I have to get in the way. It's awful if someone gets on the tube/train or bus with some as she's trapped.

Mine is a bit odd - but I can't look up at tall buildings! It started when I was a kid in PE; I couldn't lie on my back and look up at the roof of the sports hall because for some reason it used to terrify me! I'm not sure how tall buildings come into it nowadays, but if I look up at one, I feel like a 5 year old kid again looking up at that sports hall roof and it frightens the life out of me. :(
