Feel completely stuck

I have proposed changes, however they will not be able to implement them due to the effect it will have on the team etc. I'm sure they will sort it out in time, but I won't be there.

Doesn’t this take some of your imposed pressure off you though? If it’s all out in the open and it’s obvious they value you, you shouldn’t (I hope) feel like an imposter? Unless you’ve something to go to, is leaving wise? (Sorry if I’ve missed some details!)

Yep, perhaps OP is also being too hard on himself expecting too much in a short space of time? nobody should expect you to immediately hit the ground running.

You're not completely wrong here in that I am being hard on myself, however, after 15 years of working I have never within 3 months felt that I cannot continue. The working environment is not fit for learning and growing in, and the 3 month notice period stops me from moving on to other work if I were to stay longer.

Had a great chat with HR and its evident that this is not the first they have heard of this. I wonder if I will get a call in a few months when the issues have been sorted.
