i read on another forum that the lower end gf100 part will be launched first, this is of course complete rumour as no source was given in the other forum, but it does kind of make a little sense if they cant get enough decent cores out of the wafers.
Doesn't make good business sense tho... as all over the web your going to have "So we reviewed nVidias new 300 series card - the GTS 340* - and it can't even come close to a 5870" never mind the fact it only has 224SP*.

Yeah its the retailers, as i mean these guys said they were going up again in price on the next shipment (after they had already gone up), and there was nothing that they could do, yet when they heard another retailer was way lower on price, they dropped them here to £218 (which was about £20 lower than their first price increase lol), so if they have gone up in price twice, and these guys are now lower than their first increase, they must be selling them at a loss, so nice one OcUK.

But, compared to looking like a bunch of useless, lead swinging monkeys unable to do anything about the four month and 2 million to nil hammering they are taking, its a big improvement.
Then they would at least be showing willing to customers, and it would go some way to fixing the supply chain they abandoned after throwing the gt200 toys out of the pram.
Is that what they call a "Rage Quit" ?
