Ferrari Luce EV

At least pininfarina are continuing the dream.

They'll still sell some, because Ferrari will make people purchase them before they allow them to purchase the car they actually want.

Then it'll go in the bin and resale value will be abysmal.

Lol yep, like what happened with Taycans. Now the market is flooded with them and no one wants em. The depreciation was horrific.

Bringing out an improved model didn't help. But just think, you can have a porsche for less than 40k with low fuel costs.

Just keep £1200 aside for a service
Tyres don't kick themselves.

Porsche still think it's a 100k car, so that's how everything on it is priced. There is a reason they don't sell, even for far less than 40k.

the thing is, it is still an incredibly well put together car that oozes luxury and goes like stink with general running costs of naff all.

I could probably swallow the stupid service costs if I got the car for such a good price....... OTOH... do you have to take it to Porsche ? won't any EV specialist be able to work on it?

I imagine you'd probably want a Porsche used approved warranty on it, so you'd likely want to take it to Porsche for servicing etc.

I wouldn't want to own one without a manufacturer warranty on it.

I think shmee’s take is about right. It’s not for the tifosi, lambo lovers in anyway shape or form.

I don't hate the interior. At least they have done something different and what looks to be ergonomic. So much better than the cream-coloured, featureless interiors with a giant screen we are seeing for literally every other manufacturer.
The only manufacturer that seem to be making cars with interiors that make sense are Porsche.

I’m currently sat in a cafe that’s having a V8 day, full of very cool cars, and it just reminds me just how #### everything is these days.

Porsche seems to be one of the few brands that have designers who do or can take a step back and see how things are fitting together - so many cars these days it just leaves me mind blown no one took a step back at some point and raised concerns - not sure if due to the way companies are run, the mentality of the people involved in designing the car or a mixture of factors or what. So many cars are only a few tweaks, or just a little more money spent, between dog **** and good.
