Ferrari Luce EV

He also designed the Apple mouse that couldn't be used while it charged. The question is whether this was intentional bad design or corporate shenanigans to sell more mice, as Apples solution was to tell users to buy 2 mice - one to use while the other charged.

It's a wireless mouse, why use it when wired? :p

(trackpad ftw, the mouse ergo is awful)

It actually looks like a car interior that has been designed with a bit of UX in mind, rather than the recent trend for just following trends like capacitive touchscreens regardless of function. I like it.

There's a little whiff of over-simplicity to it, but overall it works.

Apple's philosophy always seemed to be take something which has already existed for a while, then make it less functional. Then charge extra because they made it gloss white and put it in a white box.

I think it looks good, a nice change from the rest of the EV crowd and its getting talked about which is generally a good thing.

I'm not the target audience but i've never liked the sound of Ferraris engines anyway, too screamy, so an EV version would be fine for mooching around in.

I don't mind it (not that I'll ever get near one) some actual switch gear, continuing to walk back their terrible flirtation with haptic buttons (more of this please car manufacturers). Made from the right materials I'm sure it'll feel premium.

Like a few in here though I did immediately think "could work as a sim rig", could probably make OK sales off licensing the designs out to one of those companies.

This will be like Rolex making a digital watch for the majority of buyers of these sorts of cars. They simply cannot fathom a motor vehicle not having an internal combustion engine, which I actually agree with to some extent, it looks awful from the renders though, and 122kWh pack woah that is gonna be heavy.

Thats exactly my problem with these luxury car brands going EV.

Ill never be rich enough to buy one anyway, but the thought of buying an all electric ferrari or any other luxury brand just doesnt sit right with me.

Maybe the world has moved on, but if im spending hundreds of thousands on a car I want a thumping V8 engine regardless of how nice it is inside.

I wonder if they can do anything to make an EV anything more than utterly soulless.

Might as well stick a Ferrari badge on a BYD - probably won't tell any difference.

It is a bit like there are few viariations of generic chassis designs and they just stick a body on top. Not really much variation or interesting characteristics.

I'll never be in the market for a Ferrari, but if I was, an electric one woulld not be on my list.
