Ive taken in to Bestival every time I've been, never seen dogs on the ferry either. Regrdless though, wrap -> condom -> shampoo bottle = job done.

Good list AH2, I had to exchange my hiking bag, 50L was not big enough!
Our daughter and her friends are going to this.
Other essentials include:
insect repellant
ziplok bags or similar
suntan lotion
after sun lotion
D)Vaseline
water bottles on belt loop or lanyard
The talk of drugs on in this thread is rather explicit, and i thought this was a family forum
No more explicit than what's on Radio 1 all week.
As a 1 off at a special occasion like a festival use not abuse is not really a problem, and lets face it, I'm sure it didn't come as a massive surprise that people at festivals might think about narcotics

Don't tell them.I got a feelfree drytube 5 litre in thailand for about £4. Its the best thing i got. Phone, wallet and anything else in the bottom, roll it down and its full waterproof. Even floats. The fijian people all wanted one!
Mines the middle one but 5 litre.

edit - who the hell needs a 25 litre beachbag??? My 5 litre one fitted enough stuff in for a 3 day excursion! (tshirt, shorts, wallet, suncream, big water, sunnies, roll up towel, a few snacks)

While this is true, its stood up to any search Ive ever had. Still though, he cant of lost that much in one shampoo bottle? Unless he had about 50 of them.. Then I can see why they split them open
That being said though, Global is one of the hardest to get stuff in. Glade is up there if anybody is planning on going there.. The rest arent much to worry about in my experience. They generally pick 1-2 people to make an example of and REALLY search them on the side to scare people, if you're not one of them.. Life is good.
