Few SSD q's

How about windows updates? or do they need to be downloaded and installed on the SSD?
(Actually I think I know the answer to this one, but without the computer being on the computer, I cant see the settings)

They will automatically be downloaded and installed on the SSD - since that is where windows is installed. The install files are deleted once they are installed, so don't worry about them dumping useless installer files on your SSD.
