Fez 2 cancelled

In my opinion this is a massive shame, FEZ was brilliant.

The tirade against the writer isn't exactly all one sided as he was the one that originally started abusing Fish because he wouldn't give an interview.

Fish isn't exactly a saint, but has had a lot of abuse thrown his way by various people. It's a shame as I think I really would've enjoyed another FEZ. :(

If this what it comes down to, a bunch of people bickering then for a game to end up being cancelled then there is no hope for indi development going far.

Marcus Beer isn't really a writer, he's just yet another one of these "angry gamer" personalities that for some reason, people pay attention to.

Phil Fish is a bit of a bell and can dish plenty out, can't seem to handle much in return. Oh well, at least we won't have to hear about one of his moments once a month

If Fish is going to be as vocal as he is about things then he needs to grow a bit of a back bone and expect some flak, jesus grow a pair man.

The guy is a grade-A tool. The guy made ONE game and turned into a right diva.

He also refused to patch the bugs and his 2nd game is a sequal. So while complaining about the state of gaming today he copied Activisions business plan from CoD :D

He refused to patch the game because of 'disagreements' he had with MS regarding their fees and apparent lack of promoting his game on the Xbox Marketplace, though I suspect he was a rather abrasive character for MS to deal with also so it's not surprising they weren't willing to come to an agreement. There is (or perhaps, was) a patch in the works now that MS have since removed the update fees.

Doesn't matter, people paid for his game and were quite rightly a bit miffed that he was refusing to fix it, whatever the reason.

Good! The first game was trash portrayed as "art" and he's a hipster loser. Nothing of value was lost from the industry on this day.

I disagree. Whilst Phil is a bit 'odd', the end product was fantastic and one of, if not the, best game of last year.
