Good points so far guys - no offence to you lot but I particular want to see what the people new to the Club have to say - we learnt a lot by just playing together and are so used to each other that we are used to how people play (both good/bad) we just accept thats the best way to play.
Hopefully a new perspective unlocks some points we have ignored/glossed over. I need to start using high pass more since lobbed through ball doesnt allow the reciever to 'lock' on like it did in 09 and appears to be a slower move to do which is why I lose the ball when Im trying a chip or trying to do a powered cross...
BTW the ANY generics are only good for accepting and passing the ball - trying to turn back on yourself or do anything remotely complex/clever doesnt work - such a shame as it makes creating chances by dragging opponents out of form is so much harder...
P.S. The experiences so far compound our reasoning why 3/4+ANY is the perfect amount to play with in Club...
James - since youve gone through most of the accomplishments can you do me a favour? Which of them (irrelevant of position, but assume forward/midfield) do you think are essential in Club and relatively easily obtained (say within first 50matches)? Im worried we are getting people with virtually new VPs whom are obviously worse than generics which doesnt help their performance or the Clubs. Perhaps we could use this to focus VP progression and of some kind of 'requirement'. Thoughts guys?
