First of all correct me if my assumptions are wrong below (also made the assumption that our defence will be default team one, since we will want to take the midfield/forwards positions):
Hmm I dno if only using your Virtual Pro in Club is gonna be a great addition, first it means that most of us with have them setup as STs and have attributes to help this position (higher finishing then crossing) if you end up playing them out of position in Club its going to affect the overall quality we have on the team (effectively having 4/5 STs playing as midfielders/forwards).
Also if you have to play BAP mode to improve your Virtual Pro then people who arent that interested in that (say you prefer ranked 1v1 matches or manager mode) then I dont think some will spend the time to improve their Virtual Pro when we play Club (especially in the casual team) and so that reduces how useful they could be in Club (i.e. a great FIFA player with an average Virtual Pro). Also competition for position isnt just gonna be on the basis of your skill but also potentially on your Virtual Pro setup...
Finally, I presume these Virtual Pros will replace the first team players of the team we are playing so it kinda moots the point of choosing a top team based on their midfield/forwards (ie. Real Madrid) since theyll either not be available to be controlled or be on the bench. What happens if your Virtual Pro needs to be subbed or is injuried?
Still need to see how ANY works and if the persons that ANY, has their Virtual Pro on the pitch...
In the long run though I guess it evens out the field and means its all about your skill and not who you are playing as (though I guess a team with more full Virtual Pros is at an advantage perhaps)
Lets just say my Virtual Pro is gonna be as tall and as 'heavy' as possible
