What is the impact engine for?
The Witcher 2 says hi.
I don't know how to pirate a game for the xbox, but i do for the pc, i don't know anyone that has a pirate xbox either but i know loads of people that pirate on the pc.
I don't think anyone is saying piracy doesn't happen on consoles, but i don't think you have to stretch your imagination too far to see that piracy happens more on pc than on the consoles.
You have the pc market, the smallest market going, but with the biggest % on piracy. I guess they see the potential profit from pc gamers as more of a risk, and businesses don't like risk.
Also, i've never seen more whingers in my life. Every thread in pc games is always whinging about something. Take MW2 for example, they anounce no dedicated servers and 50% of people cancel their orders and protest the game, even though it worked perfectly fine (in fact a lot better for a casual gamer like me, which most gamers nowadays are) and is one of the most played pc games there is.
Looks like I'll be having to invest in a PS3 again!uchhh.
PC gamers are shafted all the time because developers know that hardly any PC gamers are actually going to buy their product, they'll probably pirate it instead.

Im sick and tired of this... I give up on Fifa, it wont be getting my money anymore...
and possibly some more to follow, hehe.
What happened to Fifa Online? Tried the website, but it just says "Beta Has Ended" or something like that![]()
It's because fifa sells huge so releasing the same as good version on pc could potentially = lost sales due to piracy.Pc piracy is 100x easier to do than console piracy.I am pointing out the obvious but I just think this is the real reason why the pc version is neglected.
Stick with PES.
Why oh why are pc gamers shafted all ****ing time. My friends are always telling me that consoles have better graphics, that an FPS is better with a controller, that consoles are more powerful.
How can I prove them wrong when people like EA are bending pc gamers over and raping them?

ermmmm, WRONG!
Once your console (use the 360 as an example) is flashed all you need to do is download games, burn to disc and play. Flashing is easy, takes 15-20 mins including taking 360 apart.
The wii, is a little harder, due to needing individual files etc but once setup, works extremely easily that even my wife could now do it.
The PC, easy to download, but the number of issues you can get with viruses, patches, dodgy downloads etc can be a nightmare.
The real reason the PC version is neglected is MONEY! That's all that matters, it makes the world go round. Develop for the a console and it has one setup, PC, 100's of variations requiring testing and patching etc. Even if you spent all that time developing for the PC my betting is console sales would be a lot higher than PC anyway.
Companies can blame piracy all they like, but consoles are easier overall to develop for and have good sales. That is really all that matters.
