Fifa 13

May have already been covered but are we actually getting a direct port from the console or are we running some out of date tripe?
 
Eyefinity support! It's class seeing the whole pitch across 3 monitors, just needs the menus sorting, surely wouldn't take too much work.

PES has been more overhyped than Fifa over the past few years. The Konami bandwagon have said this and that about the next installment of PES, but it's basically been the same **** as the previous version for years.

Not sure what innovative features are in PES13. Double footed tackles is nothing to shout about.

No way is PES overhyped, its like the most ridiculed, only resting on past laurels, but they are steadily improving the game. I've read some really interesting previews and I hope it lives up to it. I just hope it offers something different and better than the static and robotic gameplay of glossy FIFA.

Haven't entirely stopped playing FIFA 12, just playing less and winding down as it edges towards its expiry date...
 
We got clubs the on the PC? I was always in a club for PS3 at Sweetpatch but it always went a bit wrong 4-5 months after release, so looking at moving to PC from PS3 to play it, but would be cool to know we have some clubs play. Been playing Fifa since the early days, expect a few years when PES was a bit better. Jesus just noticed my first Fifa game was 1993 on the Mega Drive.

Dunno if it's me getting older.. but they always look the same.

Does anyone actually buy these every year?

Just looks like a relaunch.
 
Fifa13 wishlist:
  • Goalkeeper can get booked and sent off for committing fouls or is the last man
  • Goalkeepers can get injured and outfield players can foul keeper (gives you a reason to have a keeper on the bench)
  • Quick substitutes without pausing the game
  • Stop the ai hogging the ball, its not fun when it keeps running backwards
  • Career mode more realistic where Messi and co don't want to move clubs for no reason
  • Better youth system
  • Training in the career mode and also the ability to upgrade and hire staff
  • When a player gets injured during a game, you kick the ball out of play and the ai should give it back to you.
  • More commentary choice
  • In career mode, have the ai teams have more realistic top goalscorers, so if I am barca, the ronaldo should still get 30+ goals for the ai team
  • If I make a custom pro, make it so you don't have to have him in your career mode
  • No annoying noise when I load up the game, I don't want to see rooney blast a ball every time I start ffs (a simple loading bar will do).

ONLINE
  • Make it so you can type messages in all online modes
  • Ability to kick players in pro clubs and team play where 1 of 20 players is preventing the game from starting
  • No more matching me with someone from the other side of the world where the lag is unbearable.
  • Show me the connection strength of my opponent before I am tied to play the game.

PES is **** compared to fifa and thats coming from a long time PES fanboy.

PES needs 11v11 club mode, 100+ new animations and better ball physics just to name a few yet PES13 will have none of those. you watch and see
. PES11 took a step in the right direction and was on to something btu went backwards after that
