Fifa 13

I won't be getting this as I am constantly disconnected from the EA servers so cannot play online or use any of the online features such as Pro team which requires connection to the server. I can play career mode, cups and individual match locally. That's it. I'm sick of EA. Not got a clue why it happens. I never get disconnected from other games. BF3 (also an EA game, I assume using EA servers) works just fine as do all my other games. It's just Fifa. Makes me rage so much.

5 yard pass, 5 yard pass, L1 plus five yard pass repeat till u score.

same old boring fifa.

pitch is still 2 big as well.

ball still isn't direct enough.

£40 for a game u will play for 1000+hours till fifa 14 comes out? BLOODY BARGAIN if u ask me

Just looked on Origin, it's £45!

£45 for a game that EA won't bother supporting once they have your money, £45 for a game that forces you to use Origin, £45 for a game that will still have laggy online multiplayer and people quitting when they're losing and nothing being done about it.

Yeah, alright, deal. :D

I'd give them £25 for it, and that's even a stretch, it's worth more like £20.

Fortunately PC get's it cheaper, especially with key sales and Russian keys, etc. Bonus is it's the exact same game albeit not having as much a popular crowd as the consoles. I'd pay that for the entertainment and frustration you get.

The lag annoys me. It even got to the point last night where there's input lag too. Me and a buddy connected on a few goals in clubs, but it got to the point where teams were beating us with 5 or 6 goals. We're both great FIFA players too..

Although having a really bad overall team doesn't really work :D Just it delayed my button presses, etc.

I'm hoping we can pre-order it for £16 from those cd key websites, like fifa 12.

Why waste your time, the fifa 12 league didn't finish. :p

it will be small leagues instead of one gigantic one:)

what lag? what issues? As if other games are completely lag free and bug free :p

Don't buy from origin/steam for anything, complete ripoff, Fifa 13 http://www.ultimatumgamekeys.co.uk/en/game/buy-fifa-2013-cd-key-origin.html 23 Pound. Ive bought over 40 games from here, always great service and miles cheaper

Look at the post just above yours! It's a clear problem, as is the cheating.

Plus to be fair, there is not a single game on PC i'd pay £45 for. None of them are worth that, especially as there aren't royalties to pay like on the 360/PS3.

It's just plain and utter greed, especially as EA take FIFA12 and fine tune it to make what they call a "new" game.

I'm not saying FIFA is crap. It's certainly damn good fun - but it's not worth £45 on the PC, not in a million years.

[Edit] I appreciate you can get it cheaper - i'm just shocked that EA honestly think it's worth that much. Talk about ideas above your station. :D

get a better internet connection then or play with people u know :)

How do u rate value for any product? based on what? dont u rate stuff based on the amount of enjoyment and usage u get out of it? if your a avid footy fan who loves playing footy games, name me one other game that you or a typical avid footy fan would play more and enjoy more then fifa?

many have poured 10000 hours of game time on fifa. people are STILL playing fifa 12. £40-£45 for a product that gets used almost daily for a year is a bargain whether u like it or not. i bet u have spent 20-30 quid on pc games that u play and complete within a month and i bet u never complain about the price.

its all about price per hour/enjoyment :)

Well surely value of a game is rated against the market value compared to similar products. For example, would you pay £100 for a copy of FIFA? £200? If not, why not?

When you compare it to the price of the console versions, then remove the fact that PC gamers don't have to pay royalties, can't trade the game in, have to put up with Origin, and how EA don't care about support then it really is just a £30 game, absolute absolute tops.

I probably will end up paying for a key from some site to put into Origin for around £25. And i'll consider that very good value for both me and EA. I pay what I think is fair, and EA get around what they deserve for the game. :)
