Why not, I feel it is an improvement on FIFA 12 and is certainly better than PES 2013 which I thought was going to give it a run for it's money.
Improved ball physics, can actually volleys, less over the top pressure from the CPU even when double pressured. Can create space and time for the player in possession much better than you could last year. Improved animations for passing/shooting/goalkeepers. It just seems like a more fluid game without a ton of the issues of last year. Improved dribbling and inertia as well although not to the level of PES 2013 yet, this could change in the final game.
What did they change?
Dribbling/Shooting/Impact Engine/Ball Physics/Animations/Player Physicality/Inertia actually visible from time to time.

That's fine that you don't notice the changes as much as I have but don't act like I'm the only who has noticed them and is happy with it. I can see why some may not be happy with the changes, after my 1st hour on the demo I wasn't impressed, I spent more and more time focusing on changes in the arena and in match play as the hours passed by and it's a huge improvement especially when going back to FIFA 12. If you're not happy with it, it's your right to complain and hope ea do something about it. I'm happy with it although I do have some complaints of my own but noticeable changes to FIFA 12 ? there are plenty.
I like the little skill games but the rest feels different, just not that much different and i'm not sure if it's in a good way or bad way yet either.
Also, am I the only one who still plays with the old tackling system enabled? I don't really like the new one at all, all it seems to do is cause your players to stand 3 feet from the player with the ball and never stick a tackle in. It's essentially "enable QPR mode".

Hows the demo"
Last Fifa i played properly was 2009 and i lived on that game and i also dabbled in Fifa 12, but i think i've grown out of Football and Fifa games, as i don't follow Football anymore in the real world, mainly just Boxing and F1, so i think it's just that the game doesn't appeal to me anymore.
Was having the same problem, until i re-installed Windows Media Player. Try it.

Demo is abit buggy, Giroud just scored. 
Found a way to extend the time on the demo.

Put this .ini file in the directory of the demo.
It skips the intro, starts in Arena Mode (with Messi) and each half is 6 minutes long.
The weird thing is that it gives Arsenal RVP and Song and removes the new signings.
And the league standings are the same as the end of last season.

I am actually enjoying this quite a bit more than I previously did. After playing FIFA 12 and going back to the FIFA 13 demo, it's made me realise how much smoother and realistic FIFA 13 is in comparison.
The differences are subtle but a definite improvement.
