I got a complete mix match of nations and leagues in my packs for UT, do you guys sell everyone and start a fresh or do it over time? I have like 45 chemistry

Pick a league or nationality and make a team from one of those. For example, make a team of Serie A players (can be any nationality as long as they play in Serie A) or make a Brazilian national team (can be any league as long as they are Brazilian)

Those are just two examples. I normally start with a Serie A team but after 2 years of doing that I've sold my current players and I'm going to make a BPL team.
 
Got my full English team going now. Carroll is a beast for harassing defence, scores from crosses so easily too. Is there a way to keep the ball at feet when sprinting or is that only from dribbling skill?
 
Anyone had any problems with the game not launching?

Every time I click play from the settings window, it just says "Fifa 14 has stopped working".

Tried reinstalling it, same problem.

edit: Sorted it. Set compatibility to Windows 7.

Downloaded the demo but i'm baulking a bit at paying £25. The gameplay is quite different but I don't understand the removal of the right analogue stick for ball control?

Also Origin is just as clunky to use as ever.

Gonna have a think about it.
 
If it is Origin I will give it a miss; I presumed it would be on Steam.

Enjoying the game quite a bit, but still adjusting. It's not as easy to destroy teams as before. Got to make more precise passes, and hold onto the ball better - it adds a more physical component to it than the previous games did!
 
Just an FYI for all: Game crashes on startup if you have mumble with the overlay enabled running at the same time. Disable mumbles overlay. (windows 8.1 if that matters though)
 
I'm a hypocritical nob and bought the game, albeit with dota items :(

Players seem to turn at an exceptionally slow rate and defenders are stepping up for loads of passes at half way line or even in 6 yard box on a drilled cross without offside trap on, pretty annoying and poor

Headers are back to being guaranteed goals again nearly too

I like the new system for dummying the ball and Liverpool players look good finally and Anfield has a lot less errors
 
Anyone else having problems with playing ultimate team? Every time I play a game it stalls like watching an online stream. Play goes on but I see a static picture. Seems to be caused by origin crashing in the background :mad:
 
By the way, there is a bug on Career mode. Is it just me?

If there is a new player conversation, I cannot scroll onto that tab unless I have at least one email in my inbox! Annoying.
