Then EA wonder why people buy coins instead. I thought it was BS too. The "best" way to avoid it is purchase a load of points on your 360/ps3 with the season pass then when you transfer to next gen all your points transfer over.

Wish I had done it before finding out the hard way :(

Will only buy some points now when TOTY come out to "test" my luck :p

Apparently they can't force the discount down to next gen so that's a non starter.

Mate take them and run, I got no where with my agent HOWEVER !

I got a really good bit of info from him (and yes I kept a copy of the transcript so if this doesn't work I'm going straight back to EA)

You can buy Fifa points on your 360/PS3 with the discount and as long as you use the same GT or PSN as your next gen console you will still be able to use the points on that account.

So boot up 360 buy points with 20% discount log out. Log into XO points will be on account to open packs. Or via webapp.

UPDATE:

I just tried the above. It deffo works :D Of course this all assumes you still A) have you "old" console and B) still have a copy of fifa 14 for that console. Still happy that works though.

I personally would push them to provide you for a season ticket for FIFA 15 - it seems a fair substitution considering how early in the contract term you are and it doesnt seem you guys were made aware of the inability to move it to next-gen at purchase. Microtransactions really need some legal boundaries applied to them regards service/usage

I went round garden with the guy and he was pretty reasonable to be fair but he didn't any other powers by the sounds out of it.

I wish I could keep the log up but we have the resident CEO of EA on here so one cannot be to careful :)

Needless to say the guy agreed with me it was pretty shocking , I guess if I could be arsed you could take it higher up the food chain with the transcript I have but to be honest I enjoy the banter with these sort of things more than the end result if I'm being honest but hey that's me.

To wrap up if you have 30 minutes to spare at the very least you'll get 5 free packs which I got **** all in :p

Aye the problem is in the agreement you accept when buying the season ticket (for this year) point 17 does clearly state:

17. Will I be able to use my EA SPORTS Season Ticket on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One?
EA SPORTS Season Ticket (EASST) is available as an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 program and is not currently available for the next generation of consoles.

However, if you have not redeemed all of your EA SPORTS Season Ticket Premium Gold Packs in FIFA 14 Ultimate Team before you move to Xbox One or PS4, you will receive the balance of your Season Ticket packs on your next-gen console. Because EA SPORTS Season Ticket is not available on Xbox One and PS4 you will not receive a discount on FIFA Ultimate Team packs on those consoles, regardless of your Season Ticket subscription for Xbox 360 and PS3.

In short: 1. Regardless of console, you will always have access to unredeemed EASST packs. 2. The EASST 20% discount on downloadable content is not currently available to FUT on Xbox One and PS4.

But of course who reads the terms and conditions :p Unfortunately though "legally" you can't say you wasn't told :(

As mentioned in my post a few up you can still get the discount from your 360/PS3 and purchase points and them points are account bound. So buy them on your 360/PS3 then you can use them on your XO/PS4. Its just a pain.

Also is anyone else still not able to play Online Season's on FUT ? I can play single matches fine. But every time I try to play a season game it says cannot connect to Ultimate Team servers or some thing like that. Was the same yday too.

Not sure where you got that from but I got linked to a page posted 2 days ago which doesn't help after I bought a season ticket 3 months ago and a advisor told me it would carry over, that was my angle with the guy. Hard to change tact once you have gone down one avenue of argument

Ah sorry Ive never purchased the season ticket so didnt know, I thought the resolution they gave James/Adam ;) was inadequate in comparison to the loss - as you said though it looks like they were as up front as law needs them to be :(, just a sucky way to do things....

Divaboy - now do you see why Im not a fan of EA ;):p

The bit about XO and PS4 is nearish the bottom. Also says in the banner "Exclusively for Xbox 360 and PS3" no mention of XO or PS4.

Btw I'm not saying is fair and it's a typical EA move :( but they deffo did tell you.... just not obviously tell you :p

Back in div 4 after tonight's play. Decided to go for a baptism of fire and get slaughtered after not playing much for a week. Double relegation.

I don't like the way this years FIFA feels. And the fact that even in next gen, over the top through balls still cause your defensive line to surge forward is ****ing laughable. I prefer 12/13 massively and I don't like the play style that works in 14.

Need to start dribbling again now it's more effective again.
