41212 pace teams are really nasty to play against. I hate them with a passion.

One guy completely did me with a pace team by.... playing normally. Couldn't handle it. If they play like normal pace newbs do I can normally win still but it's completely unenjoyable.
 
Yes exactly that cHk4, many people get caught out by it although with 30 second bump to timer you can easily take your time before mashing bid again so in a way it is your own fault if you get caught out by it. Still disgusting though.

With coinbuying you'll only likely get caught if you buy a large amount at once on one player. Spread small amounts out over a few days and you can amass a tidy sum eventually.

I'm pretty sure some people in this thread (including myself) have already bought coins tbh looking at their teams and how much they've got.
 
Just packs and trading for me but I could have done it for a hell of a lot less if I'd bought coins which is the annoying thing. I've had "OK" luck as well this year on packs. I had it worse in 13 so it could have been a lot worse :(
 
I know yours is legit Rusty I've watched some of your openings lol. Tim is also legit from what I've gathered, noticed Dan hasn't posted in a while he works away from home a lot though?
 
Ive made my coins purely from trading, but just kinda giving up on FUT - the enjoyment isnt worth it anymore...

Really getting frustrated with this game now. Through out the complete match I'm dominating the hell out of my opponent and out of nowhere my defence and attack become retarded.

These are the two formations I usually play with. Any suggestions or improvements?

I went "emo" a few weeks ago and quit playing it :D

The annoying thing is I do miss it because of things like team of the week...and the "never ending quest" to make a really cool hybrid team...

It doesn't help that I tried fifa 13 for a while and jeez...defenders actually jump and header crosses away in that :eek: and the players seem so so much smaller on the pitch..seriously the pitch is absolutely massive in fifa 13...you have so much room to run at people and do cool stuff :( I can't put into words how much better 4-3-3 feels on fifa 13 than on fifa 14 :(

I'm really far from convinced that Fifa 14 is a polished game :( its just horrific..but i'll likely go back to it in a week or two anyway :rolleyes: you just get the feeling if it wasn't so buggy and a few things were fixed.....it could be a much better game overall...but in its current state it is just infuriating.

The pack situation is a joke except for the first week...i agree with so much of the above comments today. Last year I must have spent over a grand on packs..............just ridiculous.

Bash , Benzema has pretty crap chemistry tbh :( It'll really affect his overall ability to score goals/play well.

+ vidic is crap..just get kaboul :)

Cashley cole must have pretty bad chem too as CB..replace him with cahill or david luiz or someone too i guess maybe?

You really want to aim for 9 Chemistry on each individual player etc

Thanks for the reply there bud. Any suggestions for another good linking striker as you're right, Benzema hasn't been linking too well for me.

I will be on the hunt for some new players while at work :D

Yea they're such scummy ********. I've been caught once on it and also my gf bidded on SIF alba for me and got caught out too :( She was actually upset about it at the time! but i just said not to worry....it happens.

Its easily done the once but after that you just specifically check every price before you bid on anything..until the end of time!!! even contracts :D you can never be too careful. They are usually very obvious to spot with larger items as they have a tendancy to start everything at 150 coins to gather maximum interest and they also like setting really high buy it now's like 8mil. After a while you even recognise the names of them as they tend to keep the same seller names throughout the whole year.

Thing is, I wasn't sure how it was profitable because of the ea tax thing...I mean of course it works sometimes but clearly there is no way you could catch out 1/20 people or more.

So I added some of these scumbags items to my watchlist and looked closely at it and they can cancel their own damn auctions. Once nobody is interested and they've clearly failed with their bump, they can then actually cancel the auction completely with 3-9 seconds remaining, so presumably don't even have to pay the 5% ea tax.

If this bug didn't exist, i'm not convinced they could continue to do this. If anyone watches closely you'll see that they can 100% cancel their own auctions before the time is up. You'll see it counting down after the bumped price and you just hear the hammer drop on 9 seconds remaining and you just think "yea ok" :mad:

Some of the better fifa players on here absolutely rave about Jovetic, but he doesnt do anything for me :( but so many love him that he may be worth a go.

Personally I think Remy is just great with no real obvious weaknesses, and he's also super cheap. Kone is a beast too with 85ish pace / 85ish strength / seemingly nice first touch and can finish pretty well if you just smash it ( don't bother with finesse imo!:)) Neither of them two cost more than a few grand tbh

They really need to stop them doing that :/ They have nothing to lose....they can just sit in their mothers basements 24/7 bumping crap and winding everyone up :(

Personally you should give Jovetic a go! Good in the air and a cracking shot on him too. I have Eto paired with him and they are superb.
 
I think I will give him a go once I've sold a few players. Hmm, Eto'o sounds like a good replacement for Torres even though he's been amazing for me. Need a really quick pacey striker.

I will let you guys know how I get on. Thanks for the suggestions.
 
What league should I be looking at for players with epic pace or is FUTHead my friend here?

When people dribble around players do you hold the L2 button or do you just move normally without the sprint button held?

Im only using Eto as i pulled him in the 100k pack. Tried flogging him for 32k but it didnt sell so im using him now. I would probably sell Fellaini in your squad too, i tried but thought he was very sluggish with a very poor first touch.
