Not really, you might be far out but considering your player position and where you were there wasnt that much curl...

Yet 13 is full of long shots galore? Dont see the issue in that finesse goal, unless you are only complaining about the ability to score from so far out? For worse OP finesse shots in the thread compared to your one...There really is no point in attempting a power shot outide of the area.

So which formations are people looking to use. I need a balanced formation for non pacey players. Strength is the key stat for me. Am I on the right lines?

LOL yeah thats overpowered. I couldnt get any long shots on target myself
. Didnt play much of the normal mode and sunk in a few hours into FUT, just cant deal with how slow normal mode feels to me...

I can't tell the difference anymore. They both feel the same to me right now, haha.
Anyone recommend a formation? Chopping and changing a lot ATM.
PLayed 5-6 games overall tonight, UT pace feels faster but not stupdily fast to me, much better than 13 in terms of gameplay speed.
Liking most of the changes so far, I'll probably barely play it again though due to hating playing vs AI so much, I'll just enjoy it a lot more vs a less predictable system, ai in football games is just
Didn't really see much benefit from the ball shielding, which is a shame, but I'm sure I'll see more in time!
Only real confusion is skills, you can do basic 3* skills out without the button, then have to use for fake Rabonas, Ronaldo Chops etc.. it'll be second nature in no time, but right now its
2 small niggles though:
Tried to play using my GT, it locks at retrieving data from ea servers (Was fine this evening, just not later on)
DVD drive constantly whirring, its a demo, you don't need to know what disk is in the drive!!

What do people think of the collisions in this? Dunno if they've gone a bit too far because it feels to me like any coming together of two players, however slight, is going to result in either a stumble or the ball breaking free.
Could easily be that I'm simply not used to the feel of the game yet, but that's how it's coming across to me at the moment.

was busy yesterday so didnt have chance to play it, will give this a whirl tonight. Its really not sounding promising from you guys here or my friends *sigh* i think they will certainly tinkle with many things before release though, hopefully based on fan feedback.

It comes out in 2 1/2 weeks and will need to be mastered at least a week before that. Not much time to tinker with anything tbh.

Managed to give this a try last night, really enjoyed it. Only tried UT as that's mainly the only game mode I play. I love how players feel heavier and everyone can't turn the ball on a 50p, there seem to be a lot more animations for movement and shots/passes which is nice.
Some of the youtubers I watch have said they have confirmation from EA that finesse have been toned down, which is good - still think corners are a bit OP though.
