That or if playing UT. Spend loads of money on packs. Get Ibra in one of those packs put him in squad and just tank your way through there whole team and score ! :D Just give Ibra the ball he won't lose it just don't spirit.

That all being said I will still most likely spend a bit on packs at the start :p

Oh also does anyone know the FUT 14 UT webapp thats up on the "15th" right ? do you need a season pass or some crap to get into the early access or just have played it last year ?
 
Just need to have played it last year IMO - I'm still waiting for details of the UK season pass to be released, definitely gonna be picking it up.
 
Rumours are the PES14 demos actually shaping up to be pretty good - might actually check it out and try it out properly...

I think Im gonna hold off from FIFA til I actually play the final game on next gen consoles, Ill probably push some kids off the game in some game store when its out and check it out. Definitely not pre-ordering after how poor 13 was...

From the videos I've seen of PES, I just don't like the look of it one bit. To me, it looks similar to PES 12/13 which I absolutely hated.

Plus, UT is the most addicting game mode in any football game :D

pretty much same as me, Im switching to a ps4 from xbox 360 so cant take things over with me so not wasting my money on doing that from the beginning again. GTA will have me covered until I get the next gen for christmas then il get fifa for that :)
 
I quite enjoyed the demo, though there are some weird animations going on that make players look like a new born deer trying to figure out how to use their legs. Even though I said I wouldn't, I'm very tempted to pick it up on 360 so I can transfer everything over to the Xbox One when I get it.
 
I am waiting on the Season pass details. I like the feel of this game, it feels tailored to the way I play 13. Slow possession play and protecting the ball.

The trick stick is very strange though not holding the trigger.

I didn't like the look of FIFA 14 either and had 0 hype going into the demo and what do you know, it's actually a much better game than I was expecting and has improved a ton on what FIFA 13 offered. Same for PES 2014 which is the better game for me this year, especially as the PES demo is 100% representative of the final game. Finesse shots in the FIFA demo need to be seriously tweaked in the final game if they want me to play it for more than a weekend. Pure shots are a nice addition however and seem to be a lot harder to keep on target, shame finesse shots have broken the demo for me at this point.

wow.. so i cant go on the webapp even though i've played the 360 version for the last few years .. :( i added my newly made PSN to the origin thing a few weeks ago, obviously never played a game because i dont have the PS3.. but was hoping i could get on the app and select that "persona" ? not sure will have to test it i guess maybe on the fifa 13 web app if its still running.
 
You need to have the previous qualifying FIFA on that platform (series) Im afraid as far as I know - people had the same issue with the last FIFA release when they were swapping between consoles...

You can access the webapp, just for the 360/XO version of FUT14

Letting the ball run past you seems to be more difficult now. Think you have to hold r1 on ps3. Annoying as it was one of my most used moves in previous games. :p
 
So guys, what is the most cost effective way to obtain Fifa 14 on PS3 now? I'm talking about trading in Fifa 13. Do anywhere give a good amount off when trading previous version in?

sell fifa 13 on ebay this very instant, do not wait any longer.

wait til a month or two after fifa 14 is released to pick it up for £25 (check hot uk deals at least twice a day every day).

that is the most cost effective way.
