That's why EA are so successful, they're the masters of making people spend on DLC, everyone says they wont but I bet nearly all of us here have bought some FIFA points since Ultimate Team first arrived.

0-3 down, into the 70th minute. Manage to pull it back to 3-3. Into extra time and he brings on Eto'o and Nasri. I go 4-3 up, go 5 at the back UD, he goes all guns blazing and ends up winning 4-5.

Navas and Hazard on the wings is so hard to defend against. It was a nightmare.

Whats up with CB's not going for the ball when a cross comes in? so much fifa funk.
 
Most of the people with early access will have pumped money in the game and probably be at least half decent. Especially the kind of people playing at midday on a working day :D.

When the game is actually released I think you'll have more luck playing some normal teams.

Somebody sent me a load of abuse on early access for my team. It only cost just over 100k! He had a cheap brazillian team which probably would have played nice in 13. Not 14 though!

I'm finding it hard to learn the game at the mo as everyone is pretty similarly skilled so every game is extremely tight and I hate losing so not really trying anything special :(.
 
I got about 15 messages off some guy last night for beating him in the final of the tourney, he was raging about how he deserved to win and I had spent too much money on the game. His team was only rated 1 below mine :rolleyes:

So to wind him up even more I told him I got Aguero in the pack for winning the game, he didn't take it too well :D
 
My team cost me 6k and I've only lost once in the 4 games I played, and that was against someone who just crossed constantly (to Dzeko, who was very lethal). When EA sort out the OP heading I think the game will be excellent, as I'm really enjoying the slower build up play.

Jean is much better than Jucilei, the only thing Jucilei beats him on is strength by 10 points but Jean has 10 more stamina to make up for it, everything else Jean is better at, see my uber team below, cost peanuts too

also Futwiz is 100 times better than futhead, it shows you in game stats to directly compare players, futhead only shows on card stats to compare which don't really tell you much.

I never bothered looking at the strikers in depth so gonna see if i can see anyone better than Fred or Leandro (not damiao the guy with neymar haircut) on fitwiz.

i also have a serie a team and a liga bbva team and got 3 player's for a BPL or England team as well.

not bought a single pack and only played enough games to get promoted to division 9 so less than 10.

i sold any "chemistry style cards" as imo they are pointless yet worth a lot of coins, no point putting a card worth over 2K on a player worth less than 20,000 coins imo.

there's plenty of cheap player's that are amazing
 
El Shaaraway is useless. His high/high work rates ruin him. What a shame as his stats are amazing. Not worth the 21k I paid for him, will drop to around 5-10k when the game comes out.

Going to try 4-1-2-1-2(2).

no, i'm doing it currently.

so long as you keep on using the daily gifts on the web app as well, you can get a pretty decent team together if you know what you are doing.

buy guys with 7 contracts for 400 coins or less, use them until they have 1 contract left then sell them on for 350 or 400 coins at the start = free players

or discard them for 300+ coins meaning the player cost 100 coins to play for you for 7 games if you cannot sell for 350/400.

also expensive players =/= best

i have beat teams worth 100 times what mine cost

Not really, you just need a good amount of luck when you open packs, and you need to make a lot of coins trading. I think if you just went by match coins it would take a long time (months) to build a good team worth 100k+.

Only if you win cups or promotion is this method going to work.... but then you run into the problem of players running out of contract, fitness, red cards and injuries.

Its more of a meta game at this point and no one plays fifa like this.

i bet you if i was to play the game for 2 hours per day i could hit 100K+ within 2 weeks.

i have only played it for about 3 hours and probably have well over 30K now easy i reckon, no trading what so ever.

i did get lucky and pull some useful player's in packs like caceres, guilherme and osvaldo, etc. free packs btw, using web app gift thing.

sold chemistry style cards i pulled as well as fitness cards, etc.

with 2,000 coins for the first promotion as well as making roughly 1,000 coins per match, and selling the cheap players on using the method talked about above, you can easily get a quality team within 10 hours of gameplay
 
Has anybody else noticed the offsides are a bit dodgy this year? A few times now I've been clearly onside yet i've been flagged as offside.

No but it is a hell of a lot more likely.

It just means you aren't likely to get an easier game where you can try things out against if someone has been kaning it non stop :p.

My mate is one of those types.
