WTF? Looking at my Online season, I have 2 contradicting stats... Top right, Season History (All Time) 1-2-1 WDL. Bottom left, Current Season, D/L/W/L... Whats happened here? The top right is the correct stat, I know that as I lost 1-0, won, drew 2-2 and then drew 4-4...
Strange stupid game, kicked me out of FUT at the end of the game after the resuslt, and it registered as a disconnect...
I also have 2 teams made, similar playing style, I sold Defoe due to my playstyle not working with him as he couldn't head the crosses in properly...Andy Carroll on the other hand

Not other than the demo. I really liked it there. Felt really nice.
I haven't got any ideas for a 442 team yet on league/hybrid. I want to make a Bundes fitness team 4231(2) with Sam and Elia (yeah I know).
After then 442 is the next I'll think about.

Try not to get too reliant on crossing. God only knows what it'll be like after it gets patched. It's way OP at the mo, up there with finesse shots. Some tool was R2'ing with knock on's and lumping it in with a 2* weak foot to Valbuena who was nodding it in. Happened twice. Luckily I won otherwise that may have been my first combustion of the year

Have you guys seen the stats on some of the IF's? Aguero and Baines in particular, they look incredible, very significant stat boosts! Definitely going to pick up Baines on Monday, he's pretty cheap for such a good card, he has better attacking stats than most forwards!
My team has died...2 massive loses...defenders running the wrong way, midfielders failing to collect the ball...crosses not connecting...

.Yeah he looks really good. I just begrudge paying that much for a full back this early on. Can see his price going up in a couple of weeks TBH.

.Sometimes you can just fall victim to random EA stuff happening. Dynamic events is the euphemism for it.
Otherwise known as scripting. Rarely happens in your favour when you're:
a) winning
b) dominating
I'm not very good at 14 yet. Getting better though. Having much more enjoyable games in the cup. Still playing full chemistry teams but they largely aren't exploit or really expensive teams. Saying that my team cost ~120k.
Seasons was a mixture of finesse shot spamming from 30+ yards and cross spam.
I spend £20 and got 250k worth of stuff. Got a bit lucky. Could have easily been wasted.
Wouldn't worry too much about it. Most players prices are going up anyway and the cheap non-rares should go up by 100-150 when the masses get stuck in as well. Plenty of coins to be made still...
I'd say I've turned over about 100k raw profit in trading but it's so boring I don't think I'll actively do it anymore. I'll probably pick a single player for the rest of time and just skim off the top there as and when I check the auctions. It's such a time sink to really trade properly.
In attacking I use Baines just as much as my wingers as he works so well for me, plus like you said his price should go up, will be a nice useful investment I think.

Indeed. I've had one easy game so far. The poor lad was so bad I went easy on him. But did give me the chance to try a few things. The right stick forward then sideways is pretty strong (McGeady with a non 5* skiller). The McGeady is as strong as ever. Heel to heel seems a little too contextual now and the game is almost too fast so you can't react in time to do one and beat a man. Have to preempt and hope for the best.

I find the heel to heel flick really good in 14, you seem to get a nice acceleration boost when you use it.
I really like using skill moves (just not great at doing so!) so I've not really had chance to give them a good try. I'm trying to get better at the body feints and stepovers - so basic but really effective when done right.
