i hate playing people who are better then me, sick of ea connecting me to better players.I have lost 3 games in a row playing online FUT division thing and the next game it gives puts me against a team of basically the best spanish team you could create
 
Valbuena is very, very good. Non-rare boost as well. :D

Its growing on me. I am going for players with really good physical stats this year, those stats seem key.

Try every formation and see what works. 3-5-2 for me this year is horrible, way too open at the back. Finding 4-3-3(3) the best formation so far.
 
Initial thoughts after playing 1 vs the AI, 4 normal seasons games (not FUT) and 3 UT games.

- It's hard to keep possession with individuals because of close control being pretty poor. Tackling is easy, you don't need to contain much anymore, you can just jump in as players struggle to hold off players.
- Keepers seem better, not doing silly things. Saving what they should.
- Power shot still OP I feel. I haven't really been in a position to try a finesse.
- It's not as pace orientated, wingers still feel very fast and can spring down the wing but forwards seem a lot closely marked and therefore not as many lobbed through balls will work, even if they do expect a defender to be on the shoulder of the attacker.
- Lukaku is still a beast.
- I'm getting used to it, it feel's very different than 13, I didn't really play the demo. I'd give it time whoever had given up already, I can imagine going back to 13 for me would feel strange.
 
pace is still important, through balls and wingplay being where it really shines. i mean whenever i put a fast RM or LM through they always complete their cross.

you cannot really take on a player without being silky on the ball, that's why is you sprint like last year you fail.

as for formations, i just cannot get one that "feels" right.

passing is important or you can simply run down the wings and spam crosses to a striker with good heading stats.


as for quality players:

Diamanti, Courtois, Pepe (the animal), Costa (the animal v.2.0), Godin, Benat (set piece whizz), Rakitic, Milito, Pandev, Barzagli, Campagnaro, Benatia, Mexes, Abbiati

they have all stood out.

this guy has the best free kick stats i have seen so far from everyone i have used, they are all around 90 ish in game
