So, after I raged and stuck my team up for sale, most have sold and I have purchased a French team I think will play well...hoping they do...

you can pretty much build yourself a top russian league team for less than 30K with some really good players like Danny, Hulk/McGeady, Akinfeev, Honda, Witsel, Cisse, etc.

You could do what I did and do a hybrid with Mvila and Diarra in the middle, and use a french back line, that way you can use russia's top players up front and have a solid french back line with Mexes, etc

I don't get EA's direction with this game. They're obviously making it not so pace orientated but now they've made it so difficult to pass around, players have an awful turning circle now and they're so slow at manoeuvring, it's really awkward. It's like platiung with bronze players, there's no smooth, fast passing anymore, just a load of players trying to control a pass before getting tackled.

i can actually play like barca sometimes, other's i don't get any space or time on the ball, i think it's to do with formation clashes.

i mean one game i can make 12 x 1 touch passes, then run down the wing and cross, the next i can't make more than 2 or 3 normal passes without losing the ball.

i think once you find a formation which suits your style of play you will be fine.

i'm thinking 451 now or 4141 or 442

it's just i want my LB and RB to stay put, there's 10 outfield player's i only need 4 or 5 of them to attack with, not 8, so i'm left with 2 at the back.

dare i say a 5-3-2 may even be good

They really need to tweak the control. It really is ruining the game. I understand people take bad touches but the new control system takes it to the extreme.

Yeah. There was something else bugging me as well but I've forgot.

Player switching is annoyingly random. Players randomly not intercepting.

Remembered what it was now: offside players for no reason. They ain't been caught it just seems every player is slow getting back on. Might be coincidental but a lot of my attackers are low defensive work rate so might affect it...

Quite liking 4-3-3 (4), with the LCM and RCM sitting a bit more it gives the wingers a bit more space

The fact that the LT tight turning has been taken out is, imho a god thing, the fact that I'm now still hitting LT to tight turn and doing protect ball is ever so slowly ruining me, must learn to stop doing it!!

Gomez is so so good, I'm not sure if its actually making higher rated players smarter this year? But he's been making great runs, in great positions and really pushed himself ahead of the back line as passes come in, very impressed & enjoying him & Matri together! Also scarily enjoying 3412!! :eek:

When does pre-release get shut off?

Tried 81 pace Cacares and he is awful at CB. Not once did I find his extra pace helped me. Stick to solid proper CBs.

Anyone get really annoyed when your fullbacks don't mark their man and the AI pulls them to tackle the ST? So many times has my RB/LB just gave space for a pacey winger to run into.

By the time you switch to your fullback its already too late as players turn really slow in this.
