Can I take transfers into the start of career mode? I've tried picking default squad, current customised and latest updated but the transfers never apply and changes back to default squad instead. (I'm trying to add Falcao to the Madrid squad but I always end up with either the squad after Bale has signed, or just before including Ozil etc).

I've definitely been able to do it in previous versions, seems a bit pointless to allow squad editing if they no longer apply it in career mode.

Spent about £300, packs are insane value (compared to later on in the year) on day 1 - did similar last year and ended up giving it away via competition on a website I run, so all works out in the end!

£300 is quite extreme to me, but I guess in the world of FUT it's **** all.

Racking the coins up now. It's good that single player seasons gives a decent amount as well.

Got 300k and some points to spend. Will then take stock and work out what I'm doing.

Can't decide whether to proceed with my 4231(2) Bundes idea or try 442. Want to get a 5221 team as well at some point. Might hedge my bets and beeline for CR7 now.

Oops bought £23.99 worth of points last night, pulled TOTW Green, Cavani, Lavezzi, Adler, Hart, Evra and some other decent sellers...spent all but 30K ish now...Enjoyed playing as the French last night...

The game has a rating system for teams...should be easy to identify the best teams.
