from team the team that was winning? yeah i've seen that also, it happens to me nearly every game.

this guy sum's it up all nicely

"Rubber banding is real. Guys, I have had more 90th minute goals scored on me to lose and scored more 90th minute goals to win in this game than I have had in any football game in my life. I have had more swing games where you simply can't hold a lead or where I come back from a huge deficit many many times. What happens is that you often suddenly feel like your players simply can't play anymore. Passes go astray, shots go wide or direct to the keeper, or their keeper pulls off saves that make no sense based on past performances. You actually feel the game take over and start dictating the result. You can fight against it. If you are good enough, you can battle the handicap and still win or defend, but you really do feel the pressure. Sometimes it is so instant you have to laugh. You score, they kick off and for the next three minutes you can't stop their onslaught but in the last half of the game, you were containing them easily.

EA deny this as they would and should, but this game is rigged FOR SURE. It is clearly to make it exciting and more unpredictable, but that is for casual gamers. For guys like me who have now played maybe 200 plus games, and have played THOUSANDS of fifa matches online over the years, we can't be fooled. You know when you've lost control and the game is cheating your skill."


if you cannot see it then you must be crap at the game, because i can "feel" when the game changes, all of a sudden your player's control, acceleration, flair are all better, you cannot make a wrong pass, and sometimes even become untackleable. the opposite if your winning, you cannot make some easy passes, cannot tackle or wrestle players off the ball like you did at the start, etc.

i mean the zarate 3 headed goals against me when i was winning was proof enough, all of them unstoppable.

bare in mind, i won the ps3 tourney we had on fifa a few years back, by a large margin, etc.

so im not someone who gets beat down or a newcomer to fifa.

but when i am playing someone on a similar skill level and i go ahead, i hate how the game "gifts" them easy goals to get back into it or even win.
 
Yeah i agree completely, i sometimes feel the game plays in halves.. the first half if your all over the opposition you've got to bag a few goals because as soon as you kick off that second half your all of a sudden under the cosh and its frustrating. Goals certainly do dictate it too, when you go 2-0 up most of the time they'll get a goal in the next 10-15mins of the game or get a scrubby corner and nod it in which the game wont allow you to defend.
 
game is definitely rigged its got to the point where i am thinking of selling coins and trading in game :( i have two teams a 20k team and a 600k team,the 20k team feels like barca while the 600k team play like swindon its ridiculous :mad: its just so much easier to win with a poor team than a good one.if ea fix headers,rubberbanding,crossing and let my highly rated cb's actually jump when defending and not get beat to headers by midget's then it might be worth playing.



ps. all the bugs need sorting to of course i.e free kick freeze and many more
 
Sounds like a total joke tbh. Haven't bought this or 13 as I got fed up with the handicapping and rubber banding that have been in the game for ages now, along with each iteration's gamebreaking issue (headers, finesse, pace etc etc). EA don't deserve the money they make from this game when they clearly don't give a crap about the product or the fans because they know millions of casual gamers will pick it up regardless.
 
I have a very average team best player is probably Lennon so I don't have any experience in the food players I just hope there not handicapped like last year's because it was so obvious it was untrue.

yeah handicap is worse than last year imo and im not just saying because im getting beat my stats on ps3 are w 34 d2 l10 i won 32 with my cheapo team and won 2 d 2 l 10 with my big money team :rolleyes:

I've just picked up the game - i'm normally buying FIFA on release day eek!

I've read nothing about FIFA14, overall is it an improvement over 13?

I would definitely agree with that. When I lose online, I don't feel it's because of any handicap or rubber banding. If anything, with my 4.5 star team, I should get the handicap in my favour, but I don't. The simple fact is I'm losing more in Fifa 14 because I'm not as good on it as I was in Fifa 13. This will change with time I hope.
 
I can accept losing, and it's not even the heading that's my biggest problem or the "rubber banding" or "handicapping" as to be honest I can't be arsed arguing the toss on whether or not either exist, but the chipped ball's over the top are awful. As Suarez said, as you go higher up the divisions it seem's to occur more too. I feel I'm good at defending but they are totally OP.

Hopefully this patch will be sooner rather than later.

I usually start really bad on new fifas and get better over time. Done ok this time around, I hope I don't get worse :p
