What is your opinion on Ashley Cole?

I have seen a lot of people using him and the times I have come up against him, he's usually played well. Just don't know if he would be worth going for over Gibbs or Enrique who are med/med, tall for a LB and 80ish pace.

Get Cole seriously probably the best Lb I've used on the game, so strong and effortless at challenging speed doesn't feel bad at all and he's really strong easily best BPL Lb Inc Clichy

You should get Jovetic and Etoo up top instead of sturridge and suarez, unless your a liverpool fan.

I would say those two are easily the best strikers I have used so far. Wish I could afford Neymar.

If you had to pick a solo front man from the BPL who would you pick? I have Benteke at the moment but unless you stick it right on his forehead he doesn't offer much.

Jovetic, he's the most well rounded striker in the game.

He's tall with decent enough heading stats, fast enough (80+ pace), brilliant dribbler (87 iirc), brilliant passer (77 iirc), brilliant power shot.

His only weakness is finesse shot.

most of the goals i score with him are using along the ground through balls, with defence splitting passes.

Not particularly cheap, think I'll save for Jovetic as Eto'o is loads more expensive. Worth sticking an chemistry card that increases his heading?

I use Hawk personally, I don't think you need to increase his dribbling or passing any more than it is already for a striker.

Defence again is something that is just not needed.

So I boosted his pace, shooting and heading with Hawk.

i actually scored one brilliant one using jovetic against him. he did mention on here i never scored a single header against him.

Ideally you want to play the through ball so it ends up in between the CB and RB (i use him as LST), but through both the CB's diagonally across initially.

the RB is always too far away to catch him, and the CB nearest never has enough time to adjust if you do manage to select the right one, if he does look like he is going to catch you then you smash it in the far corner (which means just aim to the right of the keeper and shoot) if the CB gets to within 5-10 yards of you.

otherwise get the right angle for a finesse.

i think the one i scored against robert was from the edge of the area. wouldn't let me save it because highlights never caught it.

i honestly just sold both of them for Suarez lol couldnt get on with either of them and Sturridge is a beast for me.

yeah it's the same old problem i imagine, different players suit different people.

i found sturridge awful tbh and kone and remy were better for me.

not tried suarez yet.

As Stewy said, Jovetic & Eto'o are both great, but Torres has been so good against me in a single striker role too, surprisingly good.

Has anyone else found Sturridge to be really, well...stupid?

A lot of attackers make good runs, get into space etc.. he's M/L so shouldn't be just hanging out but progressing up at a decent rate, but playing him at RST in 41212 he just hags arond about 40 yards out and really makes no effort to get into space, whereas Rooney (CAM) and Jovetic (LST) are always making runs and trying to be there as a team!
