I haven't played for a couple of days , this weekend I'm planning on having a decent amount of time on it. If you are on we can have some games and try process of elimination if you want.

You are right I get it as well , I put it down to my players having a bad day, as well all know they do in this game.
 
Googling it seems to occur for a lot of people, no fix though.

What's your latency when you go to detailed network stats? Mine is 198ms..

I had this on like FIFA 12 and it ended up being some setting in the online options that was sending info to EA or something. Weird issue.

Otherwise known as the Psycho Sonny lag switch :D.

I get it in some games, if I'm streaming at the same time it happens it's horrendous as the HDMI splitter I use (to remove HDCP before Sony patch it) adds a bit of latency.

Is it all the time?

It's really annoying if you're trying to time a skill move to kill someone and the input doesn't do anything :(
 
It's not like lag where there's patches of it, it's basically button lag. Even before kick off then before the guy kicked it I was moving a player and you could tell he wasn't responding to actions when I did it. I can't recall this occurring a week ago, there's no way I would have got the wins I have with it there, the only way I can score is by set pieces or a fluky over the top ball.
 
Yeah exactly what I get in some games, the HDMI splitter exacerbates it massively as it adds latency to inputs. Don't get it all the time though.

Lost count of the amount of times I've ran straight into someone because the heel to heel didn't come off in time due to the latency on input.

Had that a few times, it seems, and MAY be a real coincidence, but after the xbox was turned off with controller, not voice/kinect.

Unplugging the XBO from the mains for 10-15 seconds seems to sort it, until next time, happening a lot more now and only over the last few weeks, not sure if it is something to blame MS for, or EA for.

I "think" you can generally gauge this, by, and yes you'll look like some teenage idiot doing so...

Cycling your its really fast and spamming ready/unready, usually if they are smooth, that would mean the match will be for you, obviously not 100% accurate but does give you a bit of a guide.

Ibra - Messi
Ibra - Crespo
Kluivert - Crespo
Kluivert - Messi
Ibra - Kluivert
Ibra - Larsson
Ibra - Ronaldo

I don't think EA gave them anything.

Corners are pretty easy to defend when you know how!

You just have to pick their target man and push him backwards (get your defender in front of him). In/out swingers are harder to defend
 
Corners and goals where they get a ridiculous deflection or the ball bounces straight back to them in an easy position are the most frustrating, in my opinion, because you can do absolutely nothing wrong and concede. Which is silly.
 
I agree with the deflection bit.

I had one goal go againt me where i got tackled in midfeild it bounced of my/his player over all my midfield and most of my defense right to his strikers foot, who had the easiest scoring chance.. Lucky piece of.....

Never had one of them go my way.

EDIT:

Just beat this team 1-0.. Considering i have a seri A team worth about 100k i think this is some achievement. :)
