to get players in packs to sell for the coins to buy a team they want.
I was shooting just the same as always but his keeper was superman, just one of those games I guess.
The number of people that make absolutely no attempt to do anything but 1-2 and cross spam on new gen is ridiculous. It's so, so rare that anyone tries to do anything else. So boring and frustrating to play against such limited and, well, **** players who are rewarded for playing like such *******s.
Agreed Stewy had probably my most frustrating game on PS4 yet earlier, he scores from kick off, ball goes right over keeper and into net. Then he smashes a huge through ball from his own half to Ibarbo who we all know can't be caught. 2-0 within 3 mins and he pauses and messages me saying "you're so **** at this game you may as well quit now"

I laugh because my attitude towards these type of players is similar, I used to get annoyed when people would purposely build teams to exploit or play in a very particular way, however now I just pity them.
I play the game to enjoy it, I play games to enjoy them and I build teams I enjoy playing with. I find myself feeling pity for these people who are essentially removing the actual playing and enjoyment of the game to try and be a winner all the time.
I can't begin to explain how boring I find huge, massive long balls over the top to a almost inhumanly fast forward, or when all players do is charge down the flanks and spam balls in to the box. What happened? What happened to passing, to pressing, to exploiting through balls and slipped passes, to attempting skill or working the ball in from the flank or through midfield. Meh. I just don't play like that, granted I don't often win big usually by a couple of games and granted I lose almost as many as I win, but I'm happy in Division 5 at the minute and I'm quite enjoying it.
What annoys me more is that I've been stupid enough to actually (for a change) put some serious money in to buying packs (treating myself for having a good week type thing) and while yes, it's built me two good sides, I'm yet to get a really top, top player and given the amount of packs I've opened hoping for a Team of the Year player (which was a hell of a lot of packs) I've largely gotten 'nearly' players, if that makes sense.
The engine is flawed, even with players with high passing and ball control they take too long to control it and some of the passes are laughable when you use players like Xavi and Iniesta, their passing rarely feels any different to a 70-80 passing player. Possession football takes too long against 90% of opponents using high pressure so you end up having to use through balls and what not yourself against some opponents.
EA have got their marketing spot on, they make more from fifa points than they do from sales of the game, card weights on top players seems to have dropped considerably since the early FUT's especially 10 and 11, most of it is probably to do with popularity now. People actually think the TOTY cards have a high card weight because of the amount of them on the market but they don't seem to realise just how many packs are being opened every minute. They should rename the mode to Money Team but Floyd Mayweather will probably sue them.

Indeed.
The rare games against people who actually play football are always the best, the ones against people who try to exploit a system are always a real ball ache. I have a habit of just putting the controller down and playing or doing something else until the game finishes.
