They ain't - they're taken from Career mode database. You can check any of your players against FH/FW and you'll see that the NIFs stats are much higher in game than on their site. Only the IF/TOTY/TOTS etc are added directly from in game to FH/FW. :)

Well that doesn't make any sense, they've been doing the stats for years for ultimate team so why would they list them wrongly?

Probably the time and effort of gathering stats for all the players manually.

Comparing a NIF to another NIF is fine as the stats are relative to each other but NIF to IF is different as the NIF stats will be undercooked.

IF to SIF and so on is fine because those stats were taken directly from in game.

It's why sometimes the pace on a NIF to IF doesn't go up on the actual card (e.g. Di Maria) but looking at the stats would give the impression that it has been upgraded. What the IF is showing though (in this situation) is what the NIFs pace is actually in game.

Yeah it's pretty pointless for a NIF to IF comparison but fine for everything else really.

i.e. if you're comparing... I dunno... Reus to Ribery then their stats are still relative to each other

Cavani has 95 96 finishing in game :eek:

Ramos and Silva toty are probably the only ones worth it if you suck at the game tbh

How much are you really going to notice Toty iniesta over say SIF Rakitic or if isco? I doubt it would be game changing but having the two best CB's will effect the amount you lose or draw by a lot I imagine
 
Good point there Sonny, cH if you can score ok then getting TOTY defenders may be the best option, they'll still make daft mistakes but their rapid pace and defending stats should stop 1 or 2 goals going in that usually would.
