Oh yeah I don't disagree with the principle of buying coins. After all it's only because packs are consistently so bad that coin selling has taken off to the levels it currently has. Not for me though. I know the chances of being caught are so slim as it's not really in EAs interest to ban everyone who has ever bought coins but I know my luck I would.

I might top up my coins when TOTS comes if need be. :)

On a serious note though, if people could chuck £80 at fifa packs and consistently get something better than normal card Etoo.........then so many people might not be thinking enough is enough :p I must have blown nearly a grand on packs last year. They've easily robbed enough from me for a lifetime.

Seriously though, I will just remove the people that say I have this free, and Sonny is clearly taking the **** if he thinks adding a wink smiley at the end isn't provoking the situation.
 
What a lot of people on ebay do is sell a blank CD with the coins, that way you can send the blank CD recorded whatever so if they try to charge back etc you've got proof of postage of the item.

Got religated from Div 5 yesterday, 3 games left with 1 point to go. It was my own fault I should have won 2/3 games but I just didn't finish anything and I even missed a penalty :(
 
fifaralle is an absolute beast at skilling, i really wish i could get good at it, i have trouble remembering a lot of the skills though. When i do use them its always the wrong time.

Yeah he's probably the best I watch on youtube. I also have that problem and struggle to remember what way the analogue needs to be depending on where I am on the pitch. Sometimes if he didn't go for spectacular goals every game he would probably have a record 10x better

I don't think the new controller helps tbh, I remember getting a Razer pad last year on the 360 and i just found it awful for FIFA, especially the shoulder buttons. I'm feeling the same way with the new pad, I'm not used to it despite having used it for ages now. I pick up the 360 one and it still feels so much better.

Yeah some of the defending in his videos leaves a lot to be desired though :D.

Skilling is more effective (and still beautiful) if you learn the right time to use say 5-6 moves and then build from there.

Heel to heel, scoop turn, Ronaldo chop, McGeady / Berba Spin, Fake left exit right (and vice-versa) and reverse elastico were my starting point.

Sombero Flick can be proper 'lol' as well if you scoop it over your head at the time the defender moves forward towards you. There's no coming back from it.
 
The state of the web app is absolutely shocking, I constantly have to refresh, a lot of the time it sits there and does nothing when it's supposedly searching for players. Using the console to find players is even worse, genuinely baffling how a company the size of EA can allow such terrible standards. I'm sure it isn't just me that finds this to be a problem.
 
I think i know the heel to heel, flick the direction your going and then the opposite?

Also the McGeady spin is, opposite direction your running then down?

What is the scoop turn? Everyone seems to like that one.

My record is absolutely tragic, but im not to bothered, fifa 14 was the first fifa i've played since fifa 11 i think.
 
Just out of interest, does anyone play much against the computer and what level? I can beat World Class consistently now, can usually beat Legendary but Ultimate just gets a bit silly it seems as whenever I score, the opposition seems to go into hyper mode and doesn't stop until they equalise, rinse and repeat until penalties! I was trying the Ultimate Cup for the free Gold Pack, got knocked out in the semis by Real Madrid on penalties after finishing 2-2. :(
 
Fake left exit right seems to be a real pain to get right, always comes off the same as fake right exit right :(

Sombrero flick is always nice, when you're winning, ball in your half, with Dani Alves... :D

The standing flick is also great, the 5* UP UP DOWN when standing is great, especially off a fake rabone in the middle with Neymar, I really feel I'm getting the hang of the skills a lotmore now, I jst wish Guarin was 4*, went on a crazy skill run (as much as you can at 3*) from his CDM spot to about 30 yards out unleashed a hellish shot which rattle the bar! :)
 
Beat Professional about 60% of the time. Beat World Class twice but depends on the sides equal sides I wouldn't beat them.

I'm still in Div 8 online and win around 50% of games in that league either it's 2-1 or 3-1 or I lose 10-0 still can't figure out how there are so many great players in div 8 or 9

none of these things work for me I have 4 controllers and can't even get them to work on the practice pitch with ronaldo :(

The fake shot 80% of the time produces a "real" shot :eek:

On a left to right camera angle you have to move the stick in the direction of your player orientation so if you're running left to right a heel to heel becomes right then left on the right stick.

Use your cross button to fake shot or scoop turn. You have to be relatively quick on the X/A press (PS/XB).
