Personally I don't doubt for a second that some sort of weird balancing goes on if you have a high rated team against a low rated team, or vice versa.

It doesn't mean you can't win if you take your chances but for sure weird things do take place.

Cheers for the feedback :) Might give him a miss then for now. He is stupidly expensive at the moment. Will just keep using his NIF I suppose :p

Yea...thing is TOTY Ibra scored 15 goals in 30 games for me. I now have the normal card again and he's scored 13 goals in 10 games. It's not placebo, just no way. Initially I was super excited but then I realised during the first 10 games that he really was just nowhere near as good, even if he looked like him in game! :D

If I didn't have his NIF card up for sale for 3 days (Doh!) then I'd test them both out again... In fact I'm going to play some now to see if I notice the difference, going to play him as a lone striker that will prove it!

Well ive had a bit of a sketchy day, got promotion to div 5 this morning after playing some great footy only to have a pretty crappy run. all said and done i managed to hold the division so happy with that.

Start playing tonight and im on fire, 2 wins off of the belt playing absolute blinders :D, then the team sheet for my next match pops up, Ibra! Its my first match ever against him and so im a little cautious as i have heard he can be a monster and complete mare to deal with. match ends 2-2 with me playing my socks off, he got 2 ridiculous headers both from corners, both with ibra :(. I was by far and away the better team leaving him for dust 90% of the time.

Ok, despite not clinching the win im over the moon with my performance, lots of confidence going into the next match and raring to go...... up pops every toty card bar ronaldo, couple of IF's to boot.... he is terrible, cant do anything with me but i just can not convert. 20 minutes in and im looking like im on to a winner and then a long lobbed ball to Toty ibra, Dante gets turned and ibra scores form a ridiculous distance.
You know what happend next, the little **** instantly disconnected,, WTF is that all about! Makes me wonder why people bother playing in the first place!
