Ha ha Tim. I'm not sure on your choice of food for tasty though. I'd have preferred something a bit more appetising than half a plate of salad :D

Shame he's 3/3 - his only downside. I played FIFA 13 with his SIF as a ST in my 5221 hybrid with Ronaldo. Worked well there. Kind of dropped into the false 9 position due to the space between the CMs and ST. Assist master to Ronaldo. Ahhhh FIFA 13 how I still miss thou!

Some things were ok, Casillas, Ramos, Alba, Song all did as they usually do, sadly Neymar was a bit too isolated to really come into his own, annoying as I really want to keep him, but I don't think there is a place for him in this team, Hagi is fantastic, Carroll's Italian Uncle was as awesome as ever, Debuchy & Varane was surprsingly good, but the biggest letdown was Pires, I know he is M/M and French, but he could at least try to look interested in what is going on :(

Working on converting to 433-3 now!! :)

I've never really liked Bale in any of the Fifa's. One of the players where his awesome stats lie, big time. I still want to try him in this Fifa because.

iTani on youtube got Ronaldo and Messi in packs this month. Lucky sod.

Neymar is awful in any role apart from LW IMO. I have tried him in various positions and LW is the only position I can get him to impact the game. I just love cutting in with him... probably the best player in the game to cut in with.
 
played against a team with ibra and messi yesterday.

Ibra just shows what a broken game fifa is... He was just literally rolling balls past nuer.. If any other players did these shots the keeper would have saved them.

switch to 4231

get Enrique at LB (he's medium attack)

get Sandro at RCDM and stick Luiz to RCB

then get Mariano RCB (he's medium attack)

if that doesn't solve it, swap Luiz back to LCB and then get Silva RCB.

also to help defend against through balls it's best to go defensive as your defense sits deeper and as soon as you see a long one rush your keeper out if your CB's have no chance of catching it in time.

playing on defensive though totally kills the way your players attack the ball, so you may find you now have trouble scoring. therefore it's best to constantly switch between defensive and attacking depending on who has possession, it is tedious though and the reason why i stopped playing. the engine and the mechanics are awful.

tbh i think 5 at the back playing attacking is probably the best formation to suit the game mechanics, so long as you have 2 high defensive CM's.
 
I was actually having fun with UT last night, until my last game. The guy started the game and passed it straight to his back 4. Then just kept passing it around the back. I'd start putting pressure on to try get the ball then boom massive 60 yard through ball to Neymar who just zoomed onto as my defence had moved forward. 1 goal to him. I started the game as soon as I lost the ball he did exactly the same thing, just kept ping ponging it at the back 4. It was clear he was just watching the radar and waiting for my defence line to move forward then again he would do a massive through ball to Neymar again and he would score.

I honestly have no idea what I could have done in this game. If I sat as Ultra D even at the start and apply no pressure it just would have been 90mins of him passing it around his back 4. Yet any pressure was just crucified by a massive long through ball from his back to his fast ST :( really did annoy me. After the 3rd goal I just put the control pad down and walked off really wasn't even worth trying to come back.
