WC gameplay is amazing. It feels so much better than vanilla UT. Really enjoying it.
My record is 11-0-1... mainly because my team is so beastly compared to everyone else. You get 30k for winning the wc.
wow now I know why people play cups instead of seasons. this is ridiculously easy.
I won the world cup on my first attempt, using 2 teams (not spent a penny on packs) which had an average rating well below 80, in fact I had a 66 playing RB and another 66 playing RM in one of the teams. 95% of my are crap too just using them for chemistry.
I used the 3 packs and the full 30K you get for winning on packs and got some good players but still using a 66 @ RB (who is awful).
For instance my strikers are Andy "£35 million" Carroll and Mitroglou in one team and Forlan and Bacca in the other, so I'm not pace abusing but having to set up goals unlike many teams I'm facing with the likes of Benzema up front, etc.
Just put Forlan into CAM now and using Jo up top with Bacca as I just pulled Jo.
Anyone used Pepe Reina? He's 83 rated but short just pulled him but was using Begovic who is 6'7 and 81 rated, I'm going to stick with Begovic he was a rock in that world cup win.
The region link needs to be a bit stronger I think. It seems impossible to have everyone on 9-10 chem if you have more than one region without just having two countries.
It's a world cup, it would be stupid to have english players playing with argentinian, etc. Just use regional teams, I'm using SAM and EU and rotating them.
Asia and Africa are just pants as is CONCAF, all the players I have from those regions are bronze/silver apart from one or two.
I'm making a Belgian side. I have to say like others have mentioned I'm sure the WC mode play's differently (much better imo) but the first touch seems better passing just seems better, I have also found that heading is not as OP either.
