When you pick up the game better you will appreciate yaya. He's wasted in the pacman role (gobbles up loose balls and feeds play) really but he's a powerhouse. Ive found cm to be better than CDM as he gets forward more and he will still get back to cover

I have been using Eto'o, good player. Now finally want Suarez to pair up with Van Persie.

Wouldn't mind trying out Aguero.

This, he's tremendous at CCM for me, he can do everything.

Agueros twice the player VP is but he's also twice the price!

I play him by himself and he gets at least a goal a game. I changed Suarez to a cam as aguero seems to play better by himself

It really does epitomise how **** this game can be when a goal kick from the opposition can be a really good goal scoring chance. Why are the AI that bad that they can't position themselves with four defenders, and two CB's that won't allow the ball to bounce in favour of the attacking team. If playing against Ronaldo wasn't bad enough the woeful AI just gifts him goals. Absolute joke.

Strange you should mention that, today I've had a few games where my defenders just aren't tracking players and standing out of position, I'm sure lag even when slight completely messes up the sync of the match.

full backs never mark wide men making runs but instead go central. have to control them and get them back into position but sometimes its too late.

It's not really them that are the issue, yes they should be back but the fact defenders aren't even goal side is just an absolute shambles. Granted if I was using bronze players but you'd never ever see a a keeper kick it out of their hands and a striker through on goal.

Also why is the match making so bad, I'm sad enough for spending the money I have on this game, I don't want to play the sad ***** who are spending their life savings on 10 Legend players.

My 30k team paired against Van Basten and co is a real delight.

Well I've got Rooney in CAM at the moment. I wonder if it would be worth putting Yaya in CAM over Rooney?

And then I could put Rooney in place of eto along side Jovetic or would Eto be better than Rooney up front?

As you've got them all, its worth a try..

I never got on with Eto'o, much prefered Remy.. (same style of striker).

I think Rooney and Jove up front is a good pairing..

Let me know how it goes if you do try it..

Rooney is all over the pitch so is suited for CAM. Rooney can score from anywhere on the pitch with his worldly right foot.

I had Eto'o as left ST and he was useless, put him over to right ST and he bossed it. Eto'o isn't best for striking out the area, good for one on ones with the keeper.

I tried Eto'o and tbh I found him completely and utterly rubbish. But that's probably my playstyle more than anything.

Aguero is a million times better.

Been playing fifa for a very long time and just yesterday I started the ultimate team. Usually I jus to play seasons.

Any hints tips please. The whole point is getting money to buy players. Whats the fastest way? I understand there are all sorts of modes within ultimate team, shall I stick with seasons?

I'm wondering does the coloured lines really make a difference in game play.

Best place to start is single player cups and seasons.. Cups will give you quicker bonuses, but you will need to win all you're games (obviously).

Try and build a cheap gold team as quick as possible then start online seasons/cups (i find seasons more fun).

You could probably put a good gold BPL team together for 10K or so..

Coloured lines impact on chemistry. Red line can be avioded by sticking to one league/nationallity.

If you want a bit of a head start, drop a £5 on fifa points and buy a few gold packs.

ive finally got pretty despondent with ultimate team, im thinking of just binning it and trying some of the other modes - in regular seasons do you get as many exploiters? It just totally spoils the game.
