FIFA 14

Fair points. Another thing I need to realise is use my players to there strengths.

With 433-2, what I've found so far with Aguero is that most of my goals come from lobbed through balls. Easy to score goals but very boring play. If I try to score by build up play then I find Aguero gets to isolated and then it's impossible to send a pass to him. With 433 I do think you need a strong target man up front.

I think I still prefer 2 strikers up front but with 443 I seem to pass the ball a lot better than 41212. It's very difficult for me to decide what I prefer.

Youre too hung up on what formation you think you should be playing instead of just playng with one you enjoy. There is no right or wrong formation here only one that works for you. If 41212 worked so well for you why switch?

It seems like every other day you have a new formation and players to try but players wont make you better. Practice and getting to understand players strengths and weaknesses certainly will though.

My advice would be to have 4 flair attacking players in a team and 6 defensive minded (plus keeper obvs) so you are solid and the pretty stuff comes in time. Thats why 4231 works well and as you love aguero he always plays best for me on his lonesome.

My team is starting to really gel now, or more like I'm getting used to the system and how each player plays within it.

I've built a Serie A / MCFC hybrid (formation 4-2-2-2):

Left to right:

Buffon

IF Bonucci - Chiellini - Kompany - Richards

IF Vidal - Yaya Toure

IF Tevez - Jovetic

IF Higuain - Aguero

Pretty decent defensively, but has some good options going forward. Enjoying it so far.

CDM's concern shouldn't be how well they attack. Song would be a better CDM. Benat has ok defending stats and a good shot if you still want an attacking CDM.

With two CDMs I always think you want a H/H well rounded one
otherwise you can have nothing on the attack. Vidal / Melo are in that category but there's others too. Even a well rounded H/M is OK alongside a M/H.

Well if you had to choose between IF Melo and IF Miranda it would be a hard choice to make, but I think I would choose Melo simply because he is stupendously good. NIF Miranda is pretty solid tbh.

Try and get IF Melo he is basically Yaya Toure in disguise

Haha, I've had to endure a load of guff of how he was definitely playing this guy, he got his dad and brother in to watch and was climaxing at one point. Oh and it must be him as he had an amazing team....Neymar, Eto'o and Willian...?

He will be on YouTube tonight apparently..
