FIFA 14

Got to the final yesterday to be pitted against a team with 60 chem. They didn't play like it at all, got beat in extra time :( I desperately need a new RB. Anyukov goes wandering!
 
Yep, there is no reason for anyone to open packs at the moment.

World Cup add-on would be so much better if you could play your friends.

I'm not the best person to ask as not used him enough. At the moment Falcao is completely outshining him but he has done some nice stuff. Gonna go back to normal FUT and play more as WC FUT I'm not finding that enjoyable. Just get utter dross in packs and no way to guarantee getting what you need. I've got a nice South American side but have ZERO good midfielders.
 
I sold all my TOTS players before they dramatically dropped in price. spent all the coins from them on world cup.

Just grabbed another 200k, last time! I swear! :rolleyes:
 
Hey guys, need some help. I've managed to claw my way up to div 3 on fut14. However I've just been ruined in 6-5 defeat in my first game of the season. 5 of the goals I conceded were Benzema headers!!! I was raging!! It seems my CB's Ramos and Hummels (I think, Germany guy) just couldn't beat his head to the ball! Incidentally I scored 2 screamers! Any tips / players I should look at to rejig my CB's.

This is the first time I've been ruined like this from cross spamage!
 
I don't like Ramos, He could never win a header for me and was always out of position.

I've tried a few La liga defenders, my favourites by far are Pepe, Miranda, Varane and Godin.

I had Miranda and Godin together in one squad, then later on Pepe and varane, Both insane (cheap) combonations. :)

EDIT: I also found Boateng (and/or Dante) to be better than Hummels too. :)

Really not a fan of IF Buffon though (Got him in a free untradeable pack so can't rage sell him - feel like I have to use him!)
 
Decided to try 3421 again after trying it AGES ago, and had pretty good success with it, P4, W2, D1, L1, but it was actually fun! I want to make a few changes when I can, Silva at RCB, Hulk or Lucas at RM, 7 chem CF Messi at RF, but it also works how it is!

Really enjoying the WC mode. Feels more polished than regular Fifa.

Just need Lahm and I can build a full German side. I just need Messi, Ronaldo, Iniesta, Robben and Sergio Ramos and I have pulled all the top rated players.

I like the fact that you play a variation of teams due to the fact of there being no market. Each game seems a little different
 
Its annoying that you have to discard players who are good just because you already have them :(

Didn't notice i had Schweinsteger & Rakitic in my free pack :D Quite enjoying the game play of WC mode it certainly feels a bit different from normal FUT.

On a seperate note i bought TOTS Martinez last night and he scored 4 goals in 2 games despite only playing 1 half in both games (Rage quit). The guy is absolutely lethal :D Might buy Falcao to partner him :D
 
The only bad thing about playing them together is that neither has good passing and I do find that quite limiting on occasion.

But in terms of putting the ball in the back of the net from anything I'm not sure there's better. Both are lethal in the air, both awesome finishers with both feet. 4* skills on both too. Just wish they both had 80+ short passing :D.
