You cannot just use the pace stat, height, ball control, dribbling, balance, strength, etc all matter.

e.g. ashley young is so weak tug his shirt once he does a pirouette, so he's no good on the wings unless you want a lot of free kicks or sometimes you don't get them when it's a blatant foul.

a good example of this is Biabany on paper he's fast but Cuadrado is 10 times better
 
Yeah I know that but even when a defender isn't close young or lennon don't seem to be able to get away quickly. I've been playing a lot of seasons and going back to UT it just feels different and like they have nerfed certain things.

do you double tap a direction to kick the ball further as they sprint?

you need to do that if you want them to run at full pace otherwise they run slower as they try and control the ball more.
 
Killing it with my new squad in normal FUT.

Not played WC in ages, just didn't like the feel of it. So decided to get a squad back on FUT:

Mourinho that's why. He likes all of his full team to defend.

Oscar is one of the best in the world at doing it too (for an attacking player) defensively him and Willian are brilliant and Mourinho has that effect on everybody bar Ronaldo.

Do you watch much football at all?

Well tomorrow night count how many tackles he attempts and how he presses the opponents when they have the ball.

He does the same for either team.

They have essentially fixed his work rates to reflect real life. He's not the type of player that busts a gut on attack but he will do defensively if he's chasing an opponent.

Willian should be High/High but I cannot see him in the world cup mode for some reason.

Why should it be different if that's how he plays? Defensively he's sound for an attacking player in real life. In the game they need to up his tackling stats and aggression.
 
I'm surprised by the amount of average WC FUT teams you play online, I thought I'd come across a lot of uber teams...

Managed to lose a semi final by one goal when my defender and goalie collided and neither ever got back up. Sad panda. :/

I dont really play online that much but am strangely tempted to buy 300k coins and splurge on WC packs even though I have a decent team. :P
 
I didnt realise coin talk was allowed.. anyway i bought 100k off the bay for £1.95 earlier and bought 88 Suarez, not all that though i may add.

Apparently our "inside out man" said that it could get the forums into trouble. mods have now allowed talk so long as you don't try and buy/sell them on here to each other. buying/selling them from other sources and mentioning it on here is fair game.

that's what the mods said last time around anyway.
 
Ah, as if EA haven't got their finger in the coin selling pie.

Online-Gold-De for example must sell a billion coins per day just on eBay alone, easy. No way EA would sit back and watch other companies make £20k profit a day selling their virtual money.

Bet EA supply the big coin sellers with coins.

I've wondered why EA don't just sell coins themselves and cut out the middle man really. I know they have fifa points but the value is obviously a lot worse. I assumed coin sellers get their coins from buying from people and auto buyers?

Maybe if EA do away with the web app in FUT 16 they could stop coin sellers but I honestly don't know if that would have a good or bad effect on the market. Perhaps FUT WC was a good test for them to see what their micro transactions would be like if you couldn't buy and sell players... only pack them.

I expect FUT 16 will probably be a carbon copy of FUT 15, the money they must make!

lol ive yet to pull ronaldo,messi,suarez, etc etc hell ive not even got sturridge or ramos and have opened loads of packs ..

yet i pulled 3 robbens before his upgrade and 2 more since his upgrade and 4 van persies ffs

discarding them hurts :(
