I can't find any consistency in SB, I beat a really good squad on Legendary 6-1, then lost to a worse one by a few goals. It's weird.

yeah after watching a few videos I can generally get the 5 goals, it's a different game when you realise that shot fakes send the defender 2 yards in the wrong direction every time...

Good luck! I'm comfortably beating most 82 and under rated teams now by at least 4 goals but I've still got someway to go before I can beat every team on Legendary. I'm happy aiming for Elite 2 each week, better rewards than I can manage in the WL currently and far less stressful.

Edit: And not long after posting this EA **** me over. 72 rated team, 43 chemistry, three keepers in the team and it ended with a penalty shootout loss. 0 shots on target for either team and my passing accuracy dropped from 85%+ normally to 63%. They can surely come up with a better system to manipulate games rather than reducing your team to retards?

What's the standard practice for controlling your goalkeeper? vs players, not the AI.

If there's a 1 on 1, do you bring him out to close down the player or just leave the AI to it?

I've always generally brought the goalkeeper out a little bit, then double tapped to get him to rush back, hoping to trigger the chip shot which he then catches, doesn't always work though obviously...

There are far too many variables to be specific. What with angles, distance from goal, etc. It feels far easier to chip keepers in '18 so be wary. It's usually best to fake them out so they panic shoot/chip.

I’ve got 1.2 mil in coins. Going to make a team either tomorrow or Friday, depending on how the market is looking.

Yeah very decent, got up to 12-3 in the WL. Neymar just has that magic feel of a really high-rated player who can produce magic, defence is solid, midfield lacks creativity but is generally solid.

Started today off at 5-7. Got to 18 wins with 8 games remaining and the controller has been put down. No comfortable wins at all, proper had to dig in and a fair few of them I had no right to win at all. Then again the gameplay has felt absolutely awful for the past couple of hours.

Only upgrade for me this week was getting Chiellini, dude is solid.

Bronze team earlier today beat me on ultimate, 3 gks on pitch and a cb in goal who saved everything lol.

I've seen the hype around him but haven't tried Scream Perisic until now, he's a beast! Bargain for 90k.

I did the SBC, tried him for a few games and didn't really like him. He scored and assisted in almost every game but the 3* skills and weak foot make him feel massively inferior to NIF Mane and Son. Had plenty of the required players so it didn't cost much but I wish I had done the Loan first because he wouldn't be in my squad if I had.

Having said that, a winter upgrade would make him a completely different player.

Edit: I'm playing 4-3-2-1 and he's an LF for me btw.

The above was a lie, played another 3 and won them all to go Gold 2. All an absolute nightmare, but had a knack for winning games in ET this weekend.

Any idea how much the SBC is? Some of his other dribbling stats and composure are low as well as aggression but should still be useable with those above stats.

I think it's around 15k, just need a TOTW player (the rest look cheap).

I play on world class, needed to win my last game, won the previous 2, 5-1 and 6-2.

3-1 up with 30 mins to play. The5 score two unstoppable goals and herbs last minute penalty and voila I'm gold 1 and not elite 3.
