I hope it works but I haven't used a standard router for a couple of years so hard to compare. I just like the bandwidth control I have over the house, it is quite cool seeing where the person is located in the world when you're playing. It's limited, in the end if you can ping the opposition with a 30ms response then they start downloading during the game, not much can be done about that.

I would say the standard of WL is the same as any DKT game. You can get some very good players and some very average. Best I've ever done is gold 1.
I finally got rid of my cheap 16k team for a BPL 500k team. Rumours of a price drop (although things seems to be holding at the minute.)
Interested to see how I do this weekend.

I lost my first WL game to an utterly tragic player, he had 2 shots on target and both were rebound goals, think I had something like 14 but tbh I lost my head early on and was to blame for missing some of them.

Just lost my first game 4-5 in extra time. The game felt so much slower, which I enjoyed, but EA AIDS has already put me off.
A BS penalty, a 45 minute goal and an equaliser for in the 90th minute after I dominated the game. 73% possession, 14 shots to 6 on target and he had a way better team.
What's the point?
Edit: Just lost the second 3-6 after being 3-1 up at half time. The poor bloke only seemed to have the through ball button working on his controller.
Edit: Few thoughts after the first three games/defeats for anyone that's never played the WL:-
The game feels much slower;
The midfield is completely redundant;
45 minute, 90 minute goals are the norm if you're ahead;
If you score, EA will assist the player in getting a goal back immediately.
Unless you're very good or willing to play identical football forget it, it's a shockingly poor experience and I'm astounded EA think this can be an e-sport in it's current form.

Just got a last minute winner with Dybala against a guy with Del Piero AND Overmars
I was thinking of Overmars and Okotcha as LW/RW but I suspect they are no better than standard golds.

Haha you may just be right with the 'If you score, EA will assist the player in getting a goal back immediately'. I've just got Fifa again after being out of the game for a good 6/7 years I am truly shocking. And this was one results from last night. I'm Chelsea

I'm dominating possession, having more shots than my opponents but I'm struggling to create clear cut chances and defend counter attacks. Last game was 17 shots on goal to 3 and he won 2-1. Those 3 shots were the only shots he had all game
The quality isn't as high as I thought it would be tbh, I'm just not good enough to take advantage of my possession football yet. Probably doesn't help that I'm rocking a full Liverpool squad with Gomez and Matip as my CBs and Mignolet in goal

if id have thought i would have saved it.. didnt cross my mind. I had a penalty saved and 3 wood work shots too. The 85% were around the 6 yard box Fahrman was unstoppable. Ultimately rage sold most of my team after it.
just played a guy who had his all team camped on his 18 yard box and beat me after i went 2-0 up by doing that, bit of a joke tbh im fumin enough today lol.

I sort of agree, it's the type of goals that are being scored against me, but if I could finish a few of the chances or defend I don't think I would've lost yet.
Edit: FML, 2-0 up late in to the second half and I thought he disconnected. Nope, my router went down
